I am an active elder and I voted today!
by outofthebox intoday is a proud day for me.
i became part of my fellow citizens in this country by casting my vote.
it was a thrilling experience (more like a disney ride really, since the line wasn't that long).

When I saw this I had a weird, eerie feeling come over me
by StoneWall inthis morning while moving some papers off my desk a paper fell to the floor and i immediately recognised it as being the leaflet that the obama campaign workers had left with me when they had called on my door.
both of the gentlemen had been very nice and we had what i would consider a nice conversation.. .
getting back to the leaflet, it was titled voting questions & answers and as it lay on the floor of my office at home my eyes caught site of this question.

by Quirky1 inwell, a jw couple that still like to hang around even though i haven't attended a meeting since february invited the jw wifey and i to lunch.
we decided to go to a popular restaurant in the neighboring town.
we went right after their meeting was over.

congratulations on reaching your first anniversary, yes it is quite opening isn't it. It has always amazed me how many people want an organization to do thier thinking for them. Talk about being lazy in the mind. Well I guess in away we all we that, but thankfully are mind kicked in we started doing research and found out it just ain't so. I have written to the WTBTS four times and never once was answered or received any kind of information from them.
The are the evil slave of matthew 24 if anyone is. Deceving people, a lot of their followers think that when the borg speaks via CO's, DO's or assemblies and watchtowers, that it is actually God speaking. they just don't put 1 and 1 together and come up with 2, it is always 3, 4 or something other than what is right.

didn't read a utube article well of course not. It isn't the Whitehouse that sets policty for payments its the budget which is put togeterh by the administration and the congress and those of us who were in the military and are in the military now have to put up with it. We are now and in the past an easy target for congress to shit on as we cant go on strike. Paying for meals while in the hospital has always been around at least since Johnson when I was in military hospitals. that is no surpirse and has nothing to do with Bush. There just seems to be a lot of Bush/republican haters on this site.
Dawg i don't need any ?fng? insults from you either, its easy to say things when you don't have to face someone isn't it. and yes I know about Military hospitals and VA hospitals as I have spent a lot of time in the both of them.
