Eve, 1975 and time
by JWdaughter inok, this is a bit off the cuff.
and it was inspired by a comment made by someone about cain.
if adam was 130 when seth was born, then we know that eve was not 130 at that time.

truly a mind controlled cult!
by buffalosrfree inrecently sent a msg to several entities about the nbc article on jdub's spending monies to quiet those who have been molested, ( this makes me very sad) and one responded not much at all, and one has cut me and my family off from them and their family, they can't handle the truth about some in the cult to my thinking.
this has made my spouse very sad, as my spouse likes them very very much!.
my spouse would be very mad at me for sending them the article which just shows you how much my spouse is controlled by the fds, and not common sense.

Switch-a-roo Publishers on Bible Studies?
by skeeter1 inwhen i studied with the jws, the first lady studied with me a few months.
then, all of a sudden.....switch-a-roo.....i was "dropped" by "lady #1" and told i had to take "lady #2".
the reason was that i needed a "more mature person" to be my guide.

I remember when this b.s. first happenedto me, was told by present bible study, (whom I seemed to be teaching) that i need a more mature person and that he had turned me over to Brother Mature. told him and supposedly brother mature that I wasn't their property to be passed around so continue my study with 1st brother, should have read the writing on the wall then, but was too (stupid) gullible, and continued the study although red flags were raising themeselves about it. Why isn't it we don't listen to our inner selves when really needeD?

Cousin agrees, Questioning the FADS isn't wrong...now he wants more.
by dawg inok, so all of you know about my letter writing campaign; i've had several break throughs and just as many disappointments... about what i expected.
i'd say the response to my letters has been 50/50.. so, the last few weeks, i've been recieveing e-mail replies from one of my cousins.
he conseedes the fact that it isn't "apostacy" to question the fads.... this after much coaching on my part.. but i gave him three things to look into, one was why it is apostacy in this dumb assesd religion to question the men in the gb.

didn't the sacrametal thing come from the last supper, Jesus making a covenant with the remaining apostles? The FDS logic on this is about as messed up as their logic on why we shouldn't celebrate birthdays.

ANTI-SLAVERY LEGISATION AND THE WT
by badboy inhas anyone thought of whether bethel ree labour violate anti-slavery legistation?
-

IMO, of course they actually are slaves, that is slaves to a "concept," a concept they haven't rationalized or though through to see that they are being held captive. It doesn't take but one possibly two meeting with the ole thinking cap actually on and functioning for someone to seit there ard see that they don't think, aren't allowed to make a thinking response that in any way disagrees with their leaders (errr slave masters, they say they are the faithful and discreet (ha ha) slave), but it is really the R&F throughout the world.

"Tears Of The Sun", a great movie with good moral overtones
by frankiespeakin ini've whatched this 3xs and would highly recommend it to all especially to those in the armed forces because of it's high moral value.. to me(po) i see the plot this way, our humanity's overpowering the state both in mind, and allegence.
bruce willis's part really displayed the inner turmoil that shear enormity of the cruelty when we put a face on it in human suffering as was done so well in the movie, one must disobey prime directives given by the "state".

tears of the sun, was a movie that should make a person think about life and just what is happening around the earth today. I.e. in Sudan Muslims killing black christians and yet that is never put out in the PC media of today here in the US. I also have this movie in my library and watch it from time to time.

Will Awareness & Understanding Eliminate War by Making it Unexceptable?
by frankiespeakin inwill enough people eventually get it so that a real change occures in most governemnts or will it just keep going like it has been for a long time with wars being fought to gain control of weath and people,, and the whole human race gets wiped out?.
one of the first things that has to happen is that people need to be "enlightened", and i think most of us here already know that "corporate owned new media" has little to offer in that direction, many in this country, and many other countries have the internet in thier own homes and independant news sources at thier finger tips(isn't wikipedia great) and great search engines like google and others, this has to be a gradually gaining momentem, source of enlightenment around the globe.you might even say the internet may be a source of medicine to combat this ideological thought virus or as some like to use the term memes(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/meme) .
lets face it the internet if used wisely and even not so wisely is a great source for deprogramming both the bullshit feed to us by the wt but also government&corporation inspired propaganda.. anyway i think nobody could disagree, that when enough people become enlightened(a critical mass is reached) that war would end simply because the wrongness is so obvious.
