Sept KM - how those "still in" can comment

well all, we know this is a big deal.

i for one will sit there during the discussion of this ariticle wanting to scream yet i will say nothing if i am not prepared, and of course i have to "comment" with an angle that doesnt arouse suspicion.. so here it is folks, we need to put together brief, very well worded comments to use during these meetings.

All current JWs: What is this?

the bible students in 1918 numbered very few, fewer than 6,000. within three years, the number tripled.. the "intriguing subject" they proclaimed from 1918 through 1922 was "millions now living will never die.

" upwards of 70,000 attended to hear this message proclaimed in germany alone.

the talk series had a longer title, "the world has endedmillions now living will never die.

I may be wrong but didn't this lecture and book on Millions Will Never Die mean that people who were not International Bible Students would surrive the Big A and that the International Bible Students would be the little flock that would be kings and princes with Jesus and ther rest of mankind would be in lower levels of the heavens.

When the grest influx of people flocked to the Bible Students during the Great Depression and probably hope of really living forever in heaven, eventually created the problem of the little flock growing larger than 144,000, so Rutherford created the new marketing tool of little flock and great crowd, one in heaven and the rest on earth.

I know that I had always thought that the Millions who will Never Die was referring to JW's only. The way "the truth" is presented is with a forked tongue, like the double talk that early bible students understood the importance of 1914 and Jesus' invisible presence both mentioned in the same sentence or paragraph. But only those with knowledge of the history would really understand the double talk was speaking of two very separate understandings of his invisible presence many years apart and man years after "early bible students" understanding 1914 was to be the Big A then changed to 1925. But the unsuspecting faithful witness is amazed at the God Given understanding of this before 1914 to his only people on earth, thus this truly must be his organization/channel, that is until the scales fall from their eyes. (Thank you The Universe, The Internet,The History Channel, Libraries, Books by OTHER PEOPLE).

So new members coming to the Mother Organization were reeled in by "The Untruths" and that has not changed down to this day.

They are M&M&M's (Mother's Masters of Manipulation).

does anyone know or have a scan of the km 09/07.

in the german edition the question is raised and answered if the "faithful and discreet slaves" encourages biblestudy groups who study "deeper" topics.

obviously the answer is "no" don't do that the slaves feeds you more than enough.. i could do with an english copy.

I look forward to this KM, as a CO recently said the Society acknowledges the 607 vs 587 dates and I was surprised. I only knew of old 1955 short article acknowledging most of secular world believes the 586/587 dates. Will be interesting what spin they put on this more than the brother at headquarters comment that it's only 20 years and when I told him of the Babylon kings list from our own literature his only comment was that I was doing traditional math!!!

Will be interesting.

I don't know of this but would be interested. When I called the society about the difference of 607 and 585/587 and asked if there was more direction for reading about this, I was told to send them a letter requesting more information and they would send it. I was dumbfounded of such a statement and asked are you saying you have more "food" but I have to request it. Upon which I was told it was only sent to those who dug deeper. I guess this is "special take out" than the regular food that the FDS provides the sheep. This made me sick and opened my eyes wide at the same time.

Conversation with street witnessor (?) becomes elder infused

yesterday, thursday, july 26, 2007, a conversation with a street witnessor (isn't that what you would call someone involved in street witnessing?

) got joined by a walk-up elder turned into a great opportunity to witness to several bystanders (who even joined in the conversation).. i began by declining to accept the offer from the elderly woman who held up a "what does god require of us?

i said, "but, verne, you aren't going to the bible.

I have had the same experience when visiting my sister in June and a JW called on her to drop off the brochsure on Follow the Chirst, the only expression was "deer caught in the headlights" when she truly expected to just drop off the brochure and exit, but I was ready and had my questions. If the Big A happened today would anyone other than a JW be alive, of course she said it was up to Jehovah. Which I say NO you may want to read your own literature, you MUST BE A JW to survive. When I said it was interesting brochure to follow Christ but really are you covered by his ransom sacrifice, she said YES, I said you may want to read your own literture. Then she asked if was a former JW which I said No,but that I was a student of the Bible, (because I am still considered a JW but inactive). So I asked her when was she baptized and she said in 1995 and I said will then you really do have a lot to learn, her car group pulled up and I wished her well, said to put her CD in and do a seach on "Salvation" and start from there.

I then a couple weeks ago my dear former book study conductor stopped by with CO to inviite me to the Special Talk Sunday I think he expected me to say yes thank you and close the door but I invited them in to have a seat. I was assuming he had told the CO about me and they were prepared but I was wrong, he just mentioned I was irregular! Oh Gosh that is a mild statement to say the least and my former Bible study conductor knows that! Well I was being nice until he said the statement "let's be honest we would like to see you at the meetings" I just had to say "LET BE HONEST" and I started on my journey begining in 2004 assemby listening to an elder say how many would be alive gthe next day after the Big A . He was surpirsed that this was in 2004 and then I said to the my elder friend, that he hadsn't told him about me? Which he then apologized to the Co for not doing so. Well we went forward from there and I had a wonderful time with them both. Of course this lead to the Big Question: Do you belive in the the faithful and discreetful salve? I said I believe that they believe they are but it is not for me to to say they are wrong. We each have the right for our own beliefs. I said that in LIGHT of the new information in the Frequenty Asked Questions the Annointed have no more Holy Spirit than anyone else so where is this "sole channel" and the CO looked consfused , so I reminded him the FAQ in the last few months. I said so where is this sole channel if we all really do have the same spirit and do not expect to be treated differently. He said it was "collectively" when the holy spirit worked, so then I said are you telling me that individually there is no more holy spirit for annointed then say me, but when they come together in a room all 12 collectively then the holy spirit flows. He the tried to explain Act and the circumisim and the elders coming together "collectively" to decide, which I said yes there was an issue and the group made a descison. PERIOD... I brought up the 607 date and he said yes the society is acknowledging this may be, I thought that was very interesting, but in light of recent NEW LIGHT I can see where we are going. (soon to exist the keeping track of the annointed). well the car group came to the door as they had other appointments. YOU know how important to attend to the flock so they had to run after a NEW sheep. Oh yes he asked me if I still considered myself a Jehovah Witness? I said I am not DF and I have not DA myself and then I shrugged my shoulder and looked him in the eye and the conversation stopped. Well the sister came to the door looking for them and off they went to find the NEW SHEEP, those that have no questions.

I can't help to think that this elder will be getting some heat for not doing his part in keeping me in control but have not heard back from them.

It is so weird being on the outside looking in.

i'm a bouncer.. a floor guy to be specific.

(in any bar, there's people assigned to the door, and people assigned to the floor- newbies get to stand in the rain and look at ids while floor guys maintain order inside the joint).. anyhow, i had kicked some guy out of the bar last week.

This comes to you as a "Mom" I would suggest that you put yourself in a better environment. I know I have been there many years ago owned a nightclub and know what it is like and the crazy life people live. No it is not Jehovah causing this, it is where we put ourselves, and you are worth more than a slug in the mouth.

I have read your posts over the year or so and I know you have what it takes to do more with your life, go for it!!!!! Don't settle on a life where people who are under whatever substance take it out on you, you deserve more so dont put yourself to take their @#1% go to a higher level of life.

My Mom died yesterday

my mom passed away yesterday.

she was a die-hard jw.

i tried to explain why i couldn't accept certain teachings but rather than rationally consider what i had to say she chose to believe i was just "confused".

I am sorry for the loss of your Mother. I have been in a reflective mood this week as I remember a year ago when my Mother started her journey to the otherside. I was blessed to help her for a week to make the journey, unblieveable experience for me. I am so thankful that I was no longer under the brainwashing of the JW Mind, so that I could embrace her experience and listen with an open mind as she greeted the various family members who has passed before her. I miss her so much, especially this first year anniversary of her passing.

I hope that your Mother too is experiencing the "truth" of what happens after death as only they know really what is to come. Please take these early days after her loss slowly and know that many know what you are going through.

Why did they not try to 'Save' me?

i have pondered this question on many occasions.

when i began to have 'doubts' and began to 'question' some doctrine, and particularly the lack of christian love, very little effort was made to 'snatch me out of the fire' as elders are admonished to do.

i have always wondered why we as jw's would spend countless hours trying to start bible studies with 'wordly' people, while at the same time ignoring those who are moving away from dead center of the organization.

According to the WTS,true Christianity was reestablished in late 1800's.

how can the wts claim true christianity was reestablished with pastor russell when all his teachings have been proven to be all false?

and why have they changed their teachings on the memorial partakers and when the 144,000 were filled?.

Honestly, I bet many are relieved that they dont have to hide their piles of old WT Magazines that they never placed in the first place, now they are down to 2 each month, how wonderful and such footstep followers to boot.
