  she totally flipped out.

  all i was trying to do was find some mutual respect for my decision but she started smacking, punching, pushing me.

  soon after, she threw the biggest tantrum and it disgusted me to see her acting in such a manner.

  Your mother sounds like mine--CONTROL FREAK----it is hard for them to let go when we become adults, sometimes it is our fault. We allow them to much leeway into our lives..........so they think they own us...I feel sorry for her but you have to stand up and be a man, guess what, it makes her know her place..............Please don't let her attack you like that, stand right up to her and tell her to keep her hands to her self or your will call the police.............she is treating you like a child, be a man and in the end she will respect you for it and you will respect yourself...............

  ps.....a little reminder Simon who runs this boared does not allow curse words . He will delete you off, so watch the language, we know how frustrating things can get, but no bad words per order of the bossman Simon.

  christian identity or their identity as jehovah?s witnesses?.

  we would all be out and free..............you make us look at the wording, the motives, the neglet of the one man that we all learned about as children, Jesus, I never realized how the FDS ignors his importance in the whole scheme of things...............you are a great teacher---(little g out of respect for Jesus)

  Thank you for all you do. I have a quick question, you can aswer if you want or not. How do you get your weekly WT if you are not attending the Hall? I get mine from my mom, but it might be stopping soon if you know what I mean. I think I will have to go to laundy mat to get them.................

  I remember it was a Tuesday when 9/ll hit. Not a word was mentioned, just go on your way like a world event has taken place and thousands died like "oh well their worldly who cares".......I agree, you really never hear announcements like this taken place a K-Hall. It worldly!!!!!!!!!!!! As far as the Popes passing no doubt they claim this is a sign of the times and the END IS NEAR, SO GET OUT IN SERVICE.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..........................

And because they say they are we are to honor and obey without question................................they are nothing more that what the Pharisees were in Jesus day, just like Jesus had nothing to do with them then, he has nothing to do with these self-appointed men today......................as we can see by their unchristlike behavior toward Jesus sheep.

  Is there a slowdown in congregation get togethers?

  i was just reading thelisteners post from an earlier thread, and it got me thinking just how little time dubs have to associate togther.. it seems to be more and more the fact, that the only time dubs see each other to "associate" - if you can even call it that - is at meetings and conventions.. even at conventions though, the dubs are told not to go outside for lunch, regardless of whether it is a nice day of not.

  (note, this may not be true at all conventions).

  where is a jehovah's witness supposed to get this period of refreshment so he can do more?

  When I was a teen in the congregation, we had friends who lived near lakes, always went over for cong. cook-outs, swimming, (a little boy kissing) then would go roller skating every week with big groups, this good fun all took place in the 70's, Then elders started condeming our get-togethers saying to many bad things are happening with other kid from other cong. The fun stopped...........then we got married and began having house parties with other couples, vacationing with others, going out dancing, we found our own fun without involving the elders.

  Now the teens of the 90s, be assured my friends there is a secret society of fun going on that the elders or parents haven't a clue about............PARTIES EVERY WEEKEND.............. they make their own fun and do it in secret and mosts teens know of it..........until they are adults and leave...........they force them to do this since there is know real joy in being a teen in this religion.....

  He was Tall, Dark, and Handsome. He spoke so intelligently compared to the other dump witnesses guys..............HE LOOKED LIKE A MODEL IN HIS SUIT, IT FIT HIM PERFECTLY. After 20 years of marital bliss he still is great............I must admit I miss seeing him dressed up in his suits...........because he is real looker when he is.

  when you were babtized and dedicated did you feel a void?

  this has always troubled me:.

  i was studying to be babtized although i was raised around the "truth" i still had to have an official study.

  so i was taught that i had to go to jehovah in prayer stating my desire to be dedicated and babtized.

  Welcome Aprilbaby, love the name My beautiful baby girl was born in April------I found her in the cabbage patch

  Anyway to answer the question. A void why yes, felt very empty inside, but then again what business does a 15 year old have dedicating her life to something I did not have a clue about. I did it to be accept and loved which I got none of................teenagers should not get baptized.........if they are really following Christ example: he got baptized at 30 years of age, when he was a mature adult........but once again we don't do things Jesus way, we do things GBs way.

  how about knocking where it seems loud on the outside, but you know it can't be heard on the inside.

  or standing at a door for up to 5 minutes when you know nobody was there.

  I knew a pioneer who would find unbaptized people at the hall on Sunday and talk to them before and after meeting and count that as service time..............that's easy service, they come to you.........pretty smart huh? Then you get in a service group with children and talk about the great teacher, that way you don't have to get out of the car and go door to door. Then I knew of a grandmother who would only spend time with her grandchildren if she could study with them and count her time...........mind you their parents where in the religion.............but grandma wouldn't spend fun time with the children, only spiritual time so she could count her time.................is this love for your grandchildren or what?

  Yes, I do remember that story. I was shocked. How much help did the congregation give the family? I'm sure very little...................I never realized skinheads are like a religion, the comparison to the Organization is very interesting------------they do teach hate in a very subtle way.

  Say Something Bad About The JW Organization----It's Good For You!

  it's refreshing to know that we can say negative things about what we know is wrong about the society, governing body, local elders, the "brotherhood", in general------and not get censured or punished for it......i'll start.------- the organization is run more like the scribes and pharisees than jesus and his disciples.

  christ reached out to everyone.

  the scribes and pharisees treated everyone else like they were inferior, "worldly", not good enough.

  We came out of the Bagle Shop, it takes a little longer to warm a bagle so we had a longer break. I can't say anthing bad, it is against my religion.
