They move the CO around every 3 years. I think for their own protection---------some really tick people off and after a while they lose there hold over people----------we figure them out quite fast..........we know who the creeps are and who are the kind ones-----------more creep though...........after 3 years they wear out their welcome...................they think they are the Apostle Paul-----------but alas they are not they are puny men acting like a big fish in a little pond...............

WTS Letter to Elders
by doinmypart inactually the letter is from the christian congregation of jehovah's witnesses.
it was sent to elders in february 2002, after our last km school.. i scanned and posted this letter back in 2002, but with the influx of new posters this is a good time to bring this letter back to light.. it discusses field service, inactive publishers, shepherding, marital problems, child abuse, and other topics.

Thank you DMP, I have a quick question, do they frisk the Br. at elders school to see if there is any recording devises? The last KM school some Br. recorded the whole thing, we thought that was pretty cool and down loaded it.........but the big boys might be getting wise to this....not that I want you to say how you would do it, just wondering if the brothers make a big deal about it............my husband said when he went you had to have a special ticket to get in.............they act like it is top secret..........Jesus said You recieved free, give free but we know they won't.....

the real purpose of field service
by what_Truth? ini've been racking this around my brain for a minute now.
you've got people puttin in an average of 10 hours a month, giving away countless publications, and still only converting one or two families every 20 years or so.
this raises an obvious question, "if the door to door ministry doesn't bring in converts why do it?

Your service report is your spiritual thermometer, as one CO put it---------the numbers prove if you are spiritually healthy or spiritually weak-------------it is all in the numbers.....that is how they know what catagory you belong in....Also the sisters need to be out there so they can hear and spread accurate gossip to hurt the friends that do not go out oh excuse me, spiritual weak..................thats the way I see it, I'm glad I don't have to go anymore.

Great question, If I were the Creator, had it within my power to fix a problem the moment it happened I would snap my fingers and poof-----Adam and Eve are perfect again and tell Satan get the hell up here in heaven so I can give you a time out.....................then poof ----Satan is an Angel all over again......... it is easy to fix the problem in the beginning then to wait thousands of years till things are worse and everybody is blaming God for all the evil................

Actually< I'm used to it I was the middle child, always ignored-----so I post for my reasons, I feel maybe someone is reading a respose or expierience I shared and could relate or just have a laugh or two, I lurked for so long, but read everything you all wrote, so I know there might be another middle child like me reading this and saying "hey that sounds like me, I think I will join JWD."...that's all, just go right by me I'm used to that.........the only one who gives me a thought is Big Dog,he is my favorite bull dog................

it isn't a vanity plate, just a random number with letters.. it is "jwx 123" (not sure of the numbers) the first part i just love!

who remembers their first day at school
by tijkmo ini remember mine...it was in the days when all pupils gathered daily for a service to start the day even though it was not a religious school...anyway my sister had started the same school the previous year and my parents had informed the school that she would not be attending the daily service..not a problem..except for some reason they assumed that because i was the same surname the school would make the connection that i wasnt to go into service...but they didnt and so i found myself right at the front of the hall on my first day not even 5 years old in my new blazer and short trousers with all the other pupils behind me knowing i shouldnt be there..so i started crying..and first my teacher came to see what was wrong but quickly got frustrated because i couldnt explain myself..so she smacked me for crying and kept smacking me to get me to stop crying and then got the headmistress to smack me to get me to stop crying until eventually time was up and they had to cancel the service.....result...still loved school though...tijkmo

We lived in a country town, if you were well off you went to private catholic school, so there I was all smiles in my little uniform and beanie on my head with my buffy and jodie lunch box. We did not have kindergarten so right to first grade, I loved it......actually I loved school all the way till graduation. Fond memories here........
