  i think it's horrible and teaching a horrible lesson.

  I just watch them take their vows----being faithful until death do we part----------I thought the audience was going to gag and say"YEAH RIGHT, THEY WEREN'T FAITHFUL TO START WITH WHY DO IT NOW'"

  The whole church procession is so hypocritial, the queen looks totally disgusted but must put on the act. They do deserve each other-----------but stop throwing it in our face like they are so special..........................I'm sorry but, she looks and acts so low class,she has no buisness being in the royal family and I think that is how the Queen must view her.

  I'm going to Bethel... Wanna Come?

  so my mother suprised me about a week ago by telling me we are going on a bus trip to bethel from april 13-17. for those of you who aren't used to this concept, american dubs seem to think that packing themselves on the bus with 60 other witnesses and driving for 4 days is somehow going to strengthen themselves spiritually.

  well, i doubt that will work for me.

  i was just wondering, is there anything i should look for/ be on the alert for?

  No doubt you will be heading to the fancy Patterson teaching center, you will be blown away how much money is spent on these buildings and to think Jeses didn't have a place to lay his head.............they criticize the Catholic for ornateness when they turn around and do the very same thing.................shame on them from taking money from families that can't afford shoes for their kids so they can have their marbel floors and walls it made me sick at seeing it....................all the workers look robotic like they were steford people.................if this is what the new order is all about they can keep it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  just back from a funeral of old witness friend...service was ok..mentioned her a lot...sausage rolls at local hotel...waitress is df...pretty much everybody treats her normal...followed my lead

  The intelegents is way down as well as the morals------I know a hall where they appointed a man that committed adultry and left his family and took of with the best friends wife and came back and 5 years-laterpoof he is good enough to be an elder (he allowed a book study in his home) he is on the platform teaching morals I don't think holy spirit is working over here.........needless to say many left that hall feeling this is a slap in the face to his former family.............I drove by during a Sunday meeting, what once had 200 ppl attending has only 50ppl attending with a handful of cars in the lot...........all the smart ones are moving on and dumb and dumber ones stay............they better start encouraging college soon.............

  CY, I knew some one who dared show up at meeting in his work clothes, he had to because he got out of work late and his wife and children were there without a ride home---so he came in during the second half. Well guess who got counseled to bring proper clothes to work and change before you come here. The funny thing is that this guy wasn't a brother (just worldly husband) but no exceptions to the rule---dress right or get out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all from a loving sheperd who was not married, lived with mommy, and no job, pioneered.....................but he will counsel this hard working worldly father who cares about his family to come into a hall where he is looked down on to pick-up his family? There are so many wrongs done to people I don't know why anybody would still be in that building.

  WTS Letter to Elders

  actually the letter is from the christian congregation of jehovah's witnesses.

  it was sent to elders in february 2002, after our last km school.. i scanned and posted this letter back in 2002, but with the influx of new posters this is a good time to bring this letter back to light.. it discusses field service, inactive publishers, shepherding, marital problems, child abuse, and other topics.

  Hey DMP, thanks for giving me an inside look at what goes on in the Boys Club............toward the end my hubby didn't like going he said it is all rehashed garbage and updates to be put in your" little how to in force the rules flock book."..........from that letter we can see that to be true.............then hubby said he would go out to dinner with (liberal) elder friends who would question what was taught at the KM school---------------one brother said " is it just me or are the service meetings part boring and redundant?"

  My hubby said everybody agreed with that they most certainly are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  We are grateful to friends like you who keep us posted...........but how on earth can you keep it up? My hubby knew for about 3 years he wanted out but felt stuck because of being the PO for 10 years, how to you bow out gracefully------------so we appreciate all you have to go through to keep us posted...............................may the force be with you my brother

  does anyone know how & where i can post a ms word document which is the letter i have written to my family?

  i finally got the guts (yes an aussie) up to send it!

  after several drafts, i am finally happy with the copy i have now written.

  I cried reading your feelings, knowing how hard it is honey to be treat like garbage by our own moms.

  I wish I was at that convention, I would of been proud to sit with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I often want to say to my mom, you make me feel like garbage why an hell didn't you throw me in the garbage when I was born like some teen mom might do..............why have children to treat them so cruelly..........It goes against nature for a parent to treat their kids this way...............I know because I am a parent and I love my child so much that nothing could separate my love for her........even when she bowed out of the religion.........my hubby said I'm not losing my daughter over a religion-----------right attitude but very tough because at the time he was the PO for 10 years and realized what a controling organization this is to the point of dividing parental love from our children---------------this is something Jesus himself would never do.....................
