His comments are filled with hate.

His comments has caused him to fear for his life and his family.

Last night I saw an interview on local news with someone that met him in Pleasant Plains to talk about this,

McCance was carrying a gun, he is scared.

I used to live a hop, skip and a jump from this area, very backwards.

Kudos for Arkansas for not tolerating this, as I know many feel the same way he does.

His Christian faith seeks forgiveness for his comments, but his Christian faith planted what he feels in his heart.

i got a messages fro donald d'haene who wrote father's touch about his experience with teh jws and his abuse.

and was a member here - well still is although he no longer posts here.. here is the info.

the oprah winfrey show is working on a program that will be specifically for men who were sexually abused as children.

I also saw Tyler Perry's interview with Oprah, very moving.

I expect her show on male victims will be enlightening and informative and probably heart wrenching.

I would also like to say how great this site has been for us to share and help each other with the abuse suffered by so many.

Thank-you to those who open up and those that help. We all learn.

It takes allot of courage.

The posted recognized the brickwork, he had been to this house!!!

Is it socially and professionally acceptable to drink a beer during your lunch break?

i've been watching my alcohol intake for dietary reasons.

i've been limiting my consumption to a small half glass of vodka, or a shot or two of bourbon.

alcohol just doesn't do well with the gains i want to make working out.

I once worked with someone like UC that had a bar in his office and the sales people and salary people would meet there and unwind and rehash the day. After big sales or when getting off early Xmas eve all employees were invited to the office for "tea and crumpets." At one time we were cutting costs and I suggested cutting the liquor. That was one thing that was not going to be stopped. It was a great social place for us to talk about business.

When I was a furniture buyer, the reps would take me/us to lunch and yes we had drinks!!!

The champion of unbelief Richard Dawkins, Britain's star atheist scientist, has announced he'll personally cover the PayPal fees (up to $10,000) for donations to two non-religious relief groups -- Doctors without Borders and the Red Cross -- through a newly established site called Unbelievers Giving Aid.

The twin goals at the site are are first, to help Haiti, and second to "counter the scandalous myth that only the religious care about their fellow-humans."

While others debate if it's God or the devil that caused the quake, the atheists and skeptics here say the natural world is...

... "supremely indifferent to human affairs and sadly indifferent to human suffering. Those of us who understand this reality are sometimes accused of being indifferent to that suffering ourselves. Of course the very opposite is the truth: we do not hide behind the notion that earthly suffering will be rewarded in a heavenly paradise, nor do we expect a heavenly reward for our generosity: the understanding that this is the only life any of us have makes the need to alleviate suffering even more urgent.

Regular F&R readers might recall that earlier this year we saw that unbelievers were among the fund-raising leaders at Kiva, the international Internet person-to-person micro-lending site. When I checked in July, the unbelievers were leading other special interest groups including churches, raising funds to uplift the world's poorest.

last friday i posted something supportive of gays on facebook - it was as follows: put this on your status if you know or love someone who is gay.

my wish is that people will understand that being gay is not a disease nor a choice- people who are gay are not looking for a cure but acceptance and equal rights... 93% won't copy and paste this.

will you make it your ...status for at least one hour?

I really did not know I chose to be straight, I thought I was just born that way.

I don't remember choosing, having said that, had I the choice, I might have chose women

Did a Miner have a NWT?

maybe so..... i thought i saw one of the miners hold up a nwt when being rescued from the mine.. maybe one of you noticed it too.. .

Hello everyone,

Hope you are all doing well. Here we are enjoying the spring weather and looking forward to summer!

Just wanted to share a quick note about one of the miners that were trapped here in Chile. Many are under the impression that one of the miners is a witness. We had our SAD this weekend and the Bethel speaker shared this with us: One of the miners, Fernando Pena Virraroel, is the son of one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He is not a witness but studied in the past. His mother has been a witness for many years. The miner wrote a letter to Bethel thanking the brothers for their prayers. He also stated in his letter that in the beginning there was no Bible, but every day they prayed. A few days before the miners were contacted, one of the other miners found two magazines in his bag, two Awake magazines! They all took turns reading the magazines and the miner felt that it was a way they were able to find some peace. Once the miners were able to receive things from above, the society sent 30 more magazines. The miner said he encouraged his co-workers to believe in it and follow it. He stated that he also prayed for the brothers and again thanked the brothers.

We can continue to pray that these miners are about to find the truth after their experience of being trapped in the mine.

Ground Zero Mosque

do you agree that there should not be a mosque in the area that was wiped out by muslim extremists?

on the view, it was discussed with bill o'reilly and the ladies of the view.

joy behar and whoopie flipped because bill said "muslims" were responsible for the carnage there and it would not be appropriate for a mosque in that area.. what do you think?.
