  JWs at my door today

  i am home today and tomorrow per doctor's orders and i was shocked that of all days, today two jws knocked at my door for the first time in almost 4 years.

  they will be back on saturday morning at 10 o'clock.

  to you all here, both non and ex jws, and to any lurking jws, i ask the question... what is the difference between a servant of jehovah and a disciple of christ, if any at all?

  Dont under any circumstances answer the door!!!!!!!!!!!! I just did two weeks ago, let them in after 15 years of being inactive, and now Im going to be disfellowshipped on the third of next month!!!!!!!!

  Sinners-Not even eating with such a man!

  1 corinthians 5:11 "but now i am writing you to quit mixing in company with anyone called a brother that is a fornicator or a greedy person or an idolater or a reviler or a drunkard or an extortioner, not even eating with such a man.".

  if we were not allowed to be spoken to after disfellowship, why doesnt this scripture clearly say "not even speaking with such a man"?

  there is a major difference between getting together and eating with sinners, than there is talking to them at the kingdom hall.

  If we were not allowed to be spoken to after disfellowship, why doesnt this scripture clearly say "not even speaking with such a man"? There is a major difference between getting together and eating with sinners, than there is talking to them at the kingdom hall. Or where in the new world translation does it say to not speak to a person whom is disfellowshipped. For that matter, where is the word disfellowshipped even mentioned in the bible?
