Sounds like a good idea. She could listen to the different radio stations, bring her own cd's, talking books, etc, etc, while she is getting credit towrds working off her punishment.

A "better" idea is for her to tune into others in her condition and see what they have to say. Once a JW is hurting and being lovingly "ignored" they open up to looking at the Society and it's LIES. I'm not talking about false "prophets" rather the covering up of their history in relation to brother Russell claiming to be the "faithful and discreet slave" personally. You see the Governing Body gets its so called authority based upon lies on what Russell really believed. It's pretty simple. They claim that Russell never claimed to be the FDS, that he was only a part of this slave class because if Russell did believe himself to be the FDS then they would be a sect around a man. So what do the facts show? Too bad she was not near me because I have a kingdom library at home that proves they are very active in covering up this man worshipping.

Right on brother. Campus crusade for Christ, yeah right. These guys are very much like the Watchtower. They might not tell you to forsake your life for blood transfusions but will ask you to waste your life on hogwash. In fact they treat ex christians in the same way the Watchtower does. They might not teach a specific date for the end but they DO talk an awful lot of it being soooo close. Then you have your "in spirit" crack jobs speaking in gibberish, your "in faith" wackos preaching to give money and the Lord will give it back ten fold (yeah right) and your really serious nut job Creation Science "brothers" who spend all their time dissing real science to make us believe man walked with T-Rex!
Sad thing is many ex-jws have swallowed the "Watchtower twisted scriptures so that makes OUR JESUS GOD" mind-set. Of course it never crosses one's mind that God might not exist. Yeah Jesus ROSE from the dead, the most important doctrine to a FUNDIE yet God chose to only show this incredible act to 500 unknown "brethren" and some writers that we have no idea who they were other than some 2000+ year old writings. I guess God does play hide & seek! But you need something "special" to find him, yes brothers facts won't do, you need his HOLY SPIRIT to enlighten your hearts and minds to see this "truth". As a EX- FUNDIE I know this "special" something was EXACTLY what we believed in the Watchtower, namely that you simply TRUST that it is true regardless of what you SEE or READ. Since it is the "truth" you must always find an EXCUSE for things one does not understand. Fossils bother you? No problem, the reason why you don't find sheep and cows buried with Dinosaurs is because Dinos were heavier! Yes that makes since brother. Utter nonsense. In Moses' day one needed FACTS to believe and God was sure WILLING to display his awesome power but in these LAST DAYS he has left his witness to a bunch of quack jobs parading with Bibles..

A Pivotal Date: March 20
by ezekiel3 ini am just giggling myself inside out with the stupid antics regarding the march 20 release of the new org book.. of course, in great irony, only the apostates seem to know what's going on.. meanwhile in the congregations, a excitment tinged with mystery and suspense is tweaking the r&f.
my entire book study was just about begging the conductor for any hint.. to emphasize the surprise, congregations that meet on saturday (march 19) are actually moving their public/wt meetings to sunday just for the event.
just imagine the drool letdown when they find out the truth, that old br.

Yeah, it has been pointed to me that that is the cover in Spanish. Organized to Do Jehovah's Will. And this time they didn't even try to sound different - same color, same format (hardback).
It's indeed amusing that XJWs are ahead on the release of this new book. You know that is funny ;-). I actually have an "Organized to Accomplish Our Ministry" in RED. Might be a Bethel edition or something. I wonder if the new one will also have a mysterious RED edition to match? FDS

If the WT were to "reform" would you stay or go back?

i know many who post here are still active jw's or ones who were df'd, but may have not totally left the belief system.
many have trouble with the methods and policies of the wt concerning dfing, restrictions, blood, local elders etc.

Have you ever seen the Matrix? Yes red or blue pill my friend. Truth is the Watchtower SOCIETY will never change, well CHANGE for the better of it's followers, always for itself though. They worshipped a MAN until 1927 then they were blinded "falshed" with new light. Who in the hell gave the old light? The Bible is clear, you worship no one except God yet a whole organization worshipped and adored C.T. Russell. So even IF they "changed" who cares? They were a SECT then and will ever REMAIN ONE. It's now a SECT around an organization insted of a man.....
Want religion? Try Hindu or some others who treat mankind in kindness, you have many to pick from but as for me, I stick with that I am not sure about, namely, the religion of "I don't have the slightess clue" YET, I don't believe a God would be hiding in any of the world's religions. When I was young I played games, as an adult I EXPECT God to show his creatures PLAINLY that he exists, not through some morons who don't know their ass from a hole in the ground...

I was at the hall yesterday and it was stressed that only good standing publishers and baptized members could obtain a copy. They even refused to give visting brothers a copy, must get it at your own hall! Nevertheless they ran out even for my hall lol.
Have a place for one's name is nothing NEW. All of the early booklets had this like Preaching in Peace & Unity etc.
If you are all not aware the elders are stressing the "HEART" motive these days, no longer do they wish to battle trinity ideas door to door, no, they want to appeal to your heart because to think is too much to ask and we certainly cannot have that ;-)..

next they refer to the bible scholar heinrich meyer and quoted his thoughts on matthew 11:12. just who is this bible scholar ?
a little research drew my attention to the watchtower's official web site, and at the end of their article on "should you pay your taxes?

Well sitting there during this "study" last sunday I must say that the faithful were very excited over this particular artical ;D. No witness ever pays attention to the quotes do they? They are to interested in raising their hands to say "As the parable shows, we must put off worldly ambitions in place of the pearl - the kindom of Jehovah!"
No if we can only get some of the faithful to QUESTION the Faithful slave class then we might get somewhere ;-)

Hello Neo, you're right of course but placement of "older publications" into the hands of the public mostly in "remote territory" has been done for quite a while. In fact older publications were pushed to poor sheep like ones who could not afford publications and IF they needed to clear out some stock. As for "old light", they were still selling the "studies in the scriptures" well into the 1960s! My hall has the Revelation book well in stock and this is quite old too. I did notice that God's Kingdom of a Thousand Years has Approached! is out of stock in many Halls...

Why no Crisis of Conscience eBook pdf version?
by truth_about_the_truth inthere has to be a lot of fading or questioning jw out there that want to read this book but are afraid of getting the hard copy because of fears of getting caught, mailing issues, etc.
i think if this were available as an ebook, so many more ppl would be able to read it.
it would make it so much easier for those who want to take a look at this discreetly and take the leap.

Since he doesn't make a profit anyways, I'm sure he wouldn't mind a free pdf version distributed via the internet. In fact, he may even encourage it. I have an idea, why not make it PDF and have an OPTION for a contribution for Ray? I'm sure there would be many who would make such a donation. The book has been out for a while so going PDF could not hurt anything. I tend to agree that the time has come for it to go PDF. Perhaps I will contact Ray and ask him ;-). Even so, the information is so very powerful that it can no longer be kept from e-form distrubtion. It would not be to hard even for me to create such a file. FDS
