i must say, i never thought that i would see the day when i would find a site about disillusioned (mostly) jehovah's witnesses, but low and behold...one truly exists.
first let me start off by saying thank you to the creators of this site, and i'll have you know that i've been lurking for several days now and i am just finding the time to finally log on.
i've been a member of the borg for over 20 years now, been baptised for about 14 of those years and now i find myself in the most unusual of places.

Talesin - I have told my mother off many times as a teenager about neglecting to put an e on my Ann... Especially when she was such a fan of the L.M.Montgomery series (and introduced me to it getting me addicted) Anne of Green Gables.
But I can tell you already knew where I was going with that!

I get a little overwhelmed when I meet people and they accept me straight up. I got so used to being judged its hard to adjust to people just liking you for you.
would you ever get married to a person of a non christian background such as moslem, hindu or jewish?
I am in a serious relationship with a christian guy. We've discussed getting married in the future. Personally I really love certain traits he has as a result of his Christian upbringing. I couldn't see myself with any other person.
i, damselfly, can not knowingly eat the little squiggly, umbilical cord things in eggs.
i have to very carefully separate the whites from the yolk and remove the squiggly bits with a knife.
i get gaggy just thinking about them.
I like the toilet paper to hang in one direction, the paper over the top. I have to change it if its in the wrong direction no matter where I am
I only use blue Bic Cristal M ball point pens. My colleagues know I can't stand writing with any other pen because they are not rolly enough or the right colour so they find them and give them to me.
The toothbrushes MUST be facing the same direction in the toothbrush holder and toothpaste must be squeezed from the bottom.
If the furniture is moved even slightly I have to rush over and fix it back up again. Other wise everything is out of balance.
Everything must be perfectly neat on my desk. If there has to be papers on my desk then they must be in perfectly neat piles and moved away as soon as reasonably possible.
I go around and clean all the light switches and door handles in the house on a daily basis.
My boyfriend says I display OCD behaviour... Ya reckon?

I've used to down a few drinks and jump up on podiums and dance like a mad woman. I fell off every time and remember what I did the next day when I discovered the bruises on my body.
in last nights episode of the simpsons, homer goes to see the movie "left below", and subsequently becomes obsessed with the rapture.
when they show an equation he's working on to determine when it will come, one of the numbers is 144,000!.
do any other religions besides the witnesses and adventists use that number?

I was watching the simpsons last night and the Simpson family were going away to help Homer relax. Anyway they were off to Florida. Homer goes "Florida! America's Wang"
I am still laughing about that. I have never heard that expression before. Its a killer!

I use seperate browser windows to try not let them see I've been here. Also I have them both bookmarked so I can just jump straight to the page.
I've created a new identity for this project so hopefully I won't have a problem! Its good to be careful though...
