  Going out with a bang

  after much deliberation, i decided to go "out" at the end of a public talk.

  it didn't go down too well, but at least i was able to give some of my reasons for leaving.. i've put some of the details on my homepage.

  i'll update it more when i get the time and the strength.

  a brother would state that he is "no longer a jehovah's witness" after his part on the service meeting.

  a sister would state the same after her talk on the tms.

  or anyone for that matter can express such after making a comment at the watchtower study.

  What movie disappointed you the most, what one impressed you the most?

  there have been occasion in my life, that movies have come out that i looked so forward to seeing.

  then i see them, and i am so disappointed in the finish product.

  then there are movies i go to see thinking, why am i wasting my time with this junk, and then i end up finding this movie to be something enjoyable and in some cases fantastic.

  Actually I really enjoyed xmen 3. I have loved all the xmen movies... I didn't feel like I wasted my money. I love the marvel movies.

  Another one I thought wouldn't be any good but found to be OUTSTANDING was Crash. Wow - I cannot say enough about this movie.

  I was sorely disappointed by the one with Jennifer Lopez and her wicked mother in law. See I can't even remember what it was called!

  Prison Break - awesome absolutely awesome

  Wonderfalls - dark satire that I just love

  and

  Extras - true UK comedy. I laugh so hard each week that it is on.

  recently i have noticed a difference in peoples attitude towards others.

  i remember the day when others would open the door for you or smile when they look at you.

  i remember the day when you were merging onto traffic and people would let you in.

  Is it a sign of the times?

  Is it that they have been treated rudely too many times and can't see the point in simple acts of kindness and courtesy?

  Whatever the reasons how are you going to react? Will you react in the same manner as them or will you aspire to show them how you would like to be treated. Show kindness to them, even if it isn't returned.

  I found the same thing happening where I live. But I began looking for the kinds things that people were doing. And I found them. People giving courtesy waves, merging with traffic, opening doors for people etc etc. It cheers the heart. Try look for the good and ignore the bad.

  i used to love the 'commish' and 'punky brewster' sadly they don't run reruns on either of those .

  I learned recently, and perhaps everyone else knows this, but the guy who played Tattoo killed himself in the 1990's

  oh my goodness. no i didn't realise.... i wonder what drove him to do something so drastic??
