The door to our KH was regularly graffitied. The brothers and sisters would be shocked with all those swears on it. I still drive past and see the graffiti on there at times. Every time the clean it up someone vandals it again.
FF - years ago back in the late 80's I think.. A KH in NSW was bombed. A sister sitting right near the stage suffered terrible burns. I met her many years later and she had terrible scarring. I am not sure but I think someone did die in that attack.

today, on my way home from school, i saw my previously stolen bike in front of a corner store.
i first (big mistake) confronted the guy who stole my bike.
the guy failed to comply.

Well 'Derrick' I think you do have your heart in the right place but it is misguided. You obviously have a love for God and you know that it is through Jesus you will gain your salvation.
I'd like to know have you always been a Jehovah's Witness? Or have you ever been to any other churches?
I grew up as a JW and thought that they were so right but when I started going to a new church my eyes were opened. And now I have a genuine relationship and love for God.

i know people who don't say their real age, like take off 2 or 3 years.... my mom looks younger than her age, so she sometimes took off a few years.

Absolutely. I get a real kick out of telling people I am 30. They are usually surprised and peg me around 5 years younger... COOLIES!!!
did you ever notice how jws act when they hear that an inactive jw or a df'd person had something bad happen to them?
almost with glee, they give that *look* that says, "we told you so".
Without a doubt. Everytime I run into a JW they will without fail ask me if I am happy. And when I tell them just how happy I am and they can see it is genuine they get afraid and either disappear quickly or rebuke me for leaving the organisation.
They can't stand it.
