Yes me too, of everything we have discussed, this admission is what shocked me the most, and from an experienced PO too. If I tell this to my soon-to-be-baptised friend he wont believe me. But I mustnt stumble him

To be honest, you havent yet made an argument. You have stated beliefs as fact, without backing them up with reasoned argument. Many Christians on this site are able to back up their beliefs with some degree of argument and logic, although neither side can prove beliefs. At least their line of argument, backed up by accurate scriptures, history, archaeology, textual criticism etc etc affords them some degree of credibility. Which of the 10,000 Christian religions to you currently consider yourself?

now I learn the majority sadly has now been converted to atheists or some thing else.
There is quite a cross-section of people on this site, but your thread was specifically addressed to athiests, hence perhaps the response. If your above comment is accurate, perhaps it is worth considering what sort of behaviours in others resultd in such conversions.

What better way than saturate a crowd with good gospel literature.
It may work sometimes, some places, but some on this site have been through much pain. I first came to this site to get help. I desperately needed to recue my loved ones from the JW cult, and still do. I went about it by saturating my friends. It backfired, they are further than ever from Christ, and being baptised as JWs. I love all the folks on this site, unconditionally, not just because all have helped me, whatever their beliefs or lack thereof. Someone on this site quoted a scripture I hadnt noticed before, Jesus words, something like be as cautious as a serpent and as peaceful as a dove. Hope I am not quoting out of context.

for believers, if god uses the bible to communicate factual information, then why four gospels?
and why are they not in harmony with each other?
why not send down one record of the life of jesus as it really happened?

On this we are agreed. I believe you are sincerly trying to do good on here, and not just try to make yourself feel better by preaching to others.
We all have our beliefs. I am a former catholic, then seventh day adventist. Every time I think I have sorted out my beliefs, I read more, pray and learn. I have only at this point in my life had the courage to ask real questions instead of concentrate on my favourite verses, the ones that support my beliefs, and skimming over the verses that didnt quite fit. The Bible teaches us to keep testing our faith 1 John 4:1.
Yes, gospel literature is what I am talking about.
