i’ve always noticed that the local jw leaders like to give as little notice as possible for local meetings and expect you to drop everything and rearrange your life to fit their agenda in.
i’ve noticed this more during the pandemic.
we are not given the codes and time of memorial until a couple hours before meeting.

Maybe they’re trying to give a mysterious vibe like WW2 when people supposedly wouldn’t be told where the next meeting was going to be held if they missed the previous one...If they’re trying to recapture the feeling back then they can forget it! When I’m home I use soap and water and alcohol or bleach wipe for certain surfaces. The hand sanitizer is for outside but I hardly ever use it - maybe to sanitize certain surfaces. Somehow it feels gross to use it on my hands.
As far as antibacterial soaps:..Dial hand foaming cleanser (benxalkonium chloride) and Dial bar soap. (The bodywash from Dial is No longer antibacterial because they removed triclosan (Sept 2016).. harmful to the body). There is also an antibacterial dishwashing liquid Palmolive (orange).
Hope that helps. But, I’m sure if you ran out of these, plain old-fashioned soap and water would do fine.

In my opinion, if it does come down to it, I DO believe some average Witnesses WILL consent to receive this plasma.. They won’t advertise it, of course, but I think they will.
I saw on Reddit that the guys in upstate NY are in extreme quarantine lockdown and can’t leave their rooms and communicate with each other by Zoom. There are also trucks supposedly blocking the entrances to the place!
I would hope, for their sakes, that this works and that the virus does not enter their compound..Because they, supposedly, will not approve of this life saving plasma treatment, right???

how is it that where this covid 19 started , in wuhan china, china has only ,reportedly 83,000 for the whole country ?
whereas in the united states of america the figure is just under 400,000 ?.

If what you say about those 21 million dead cellphones in China and the eight incinerators in Wuhan doing three tons a day is true, this is beyond belief.
I still wonder if this virus is somebody’s lab creation that either got out accidentally or was introduced deliberately into their environment. Maybe that wet market story is just a convenient cover story..We will never know the truth.
i support local and state and federal government’s power to safeguard the public.
i wonder is it getting to a point where we will be told we can’t go out anymore, can’t use your phone or computer anymore because of the viruses that we can get, etc.
are we prolonging this virus at all ?

Wow, I’ve got to hand it to you: you take more precautions than I do!
I use the mask and wash my hands at least a dozen times. When I get home I drop the keys somewhere, wash my hands like a surgeon, take my coat off and hang it up; unpack the groceries and put them away, wash hands, some plastic stuff I rinse off. After everything is put away I wash my hands again and take alcohol and a paper towel and do the keys the doorknobs, light switches, sink handles. I’ll use clorox spray on counter tops, etc. If I open any new container I wash hands again, etc.
It is all very tiring. As far as mail is concerned, I open it drop the envelopes on the floor, look at the contents. I then take the envelopes off the floor and shred them. I wash my hands again. I’ll usually shower & shampoo soon after. Tomorrow I’ll take alcohol and paper towel for the inside of my car, steering wheel. If all this doesn’t help I give up.

I have been out of the house about three or four times since then to get groceries - but I wear my mask....Its really very difficult to tell people they should not go out at all.
Even somebody who doesn’t go out to get groceries has somebody else get them. Unless you want to have them delivered - but you’ll have brief contact with somebody..I don’t like the idea of having somebody do my shopping. People make mistakes..now more so. Years ago I was ill and had a delivery from a drugstore and one of the things I wanted were Chloraseptic lozenges for a severely sore throat. I ended up getting Clorets (bad breath lozenges). At the time it wasn’t funny.

I was sick in January and wonder if it was in the US before they thought it was.
I agree that people most likely should be tested first, but many people are complaining saying this is ‘unfair’. So everybody can’t be pleased.
There are those who look at the number of deaths of doctors and health care workers, and wonder if it has to do with them being exposed to large amounts of the virus continuously..and their system can’t fight it.
Some wonder if people just exposed briefly to small amounts of the virus, they may not know this or even get sick(?). Just speculation. I have also heard of some who supposedly isolated themselves as much as possible and came down with it. And who is to say how they got it? But, I do believe that everybody should practice social distancing themselves as much as possible..if only to lower the odds of being exposed.
got this week a message from a jw friend about the jw.org headquarters move to warwick.. the message shows how even rational witness (my friend is a rational businessman) share the jw emotional madness that's going arround the jw social media now.
