  JW's and the "filibuster deal"

  now i have heard everything.

  just talking to an elder i work with about the filibuster deal in the us senate.

  he told me that the republican's caving in to the democrats gives the dem.

  Star Wars, the Dubs, and religious delusion

  i just watched the new star wars flick (awesome) and noticed a lot of parallel's in it with the jay-dub world view.

  a lot of my old witness friends are hard core fans, and i think that if they ever were to remember me and and make that spiritual connection in the movie, they would liken me to aniken skywalker falling to the dark side and becoming the evil sneering apostate, darth vadar.

  i probably would have thought something retarded like that when i was a dumb ass witness.

  the back stabbing (jedi counsel), the entire senate being in one person's hands, the expendable droids....

  all have their parallels in the JW world.

  it still amazes me how lacking jw's are in social decorum.

  although, i have not been victim to the same level of damage from the wts as many of you on this site, i have noticed that it is very difficult to fight such a large entity with deep pockets and passionate (though misled) supporters.. .

  since i am still in the very early stages of leaving/fading, i wonder:.

  i have already spent the vast majority of my life sacrificially serving the interests of this org.

  amazing documentary on tonight on channel 5 (uk).

  daniel was interviewed on a uk show earlier today, and he is amazing!

  he learned to speak a language in just seven days (and was fluent in it).

  My father always told me that to hate someone or be angry at them is a waste of your time. All the while while you are hating, the object of your hatred goes on with their life while you waste yours.

  That is why I avoid the JW religion as much as possible. But to hate is a misuse of energy.
