  your color prefence can tell you about your personality and hidden secrets...........you can take the "color test" in a book call the "luchser color test" by max luchser they give you 8 colors to arrange.

  a great book.

  when i thinking of dating someone they get the test first thing..........it saves alote of time for meand them...........i don't date people who choose green, black or grey in first poistion.. nb.

  turquoise i believe, is my favorite colour.

  it's interesting. apparently, as we evolved we became aware of more and more colors along the spectrum, starting with red and ending most recently with purple.

  Regarding Genesis 3:15, Tell me what you think

  genesis 3:15 states " i shall put enmity between you and the woman and between your seed and her seed.

  " " he will bruise you in the head and you will bruise him in the heel.".

  i did some meditating on this scripture and came to the realization that this prophecy could have somehow been misinterpreted.

  hmmm...

  it's a prophecy from the age when man first began to really gradually awaken into self consciousness from animal consciousness. with this awakening into this level of consciousness (the one most of us reside in) came the glimpse for some that there would be an awakening again. a brief glimpse into the next evolutionary leap. from mind to meta mind. a higher consciousness spiritually *and* technically.

  the serpent represents our dna, and the hold that it has had on us. the prophecy says that we will one day turn and take control of our dna, and in the process control of our spiritual evolution, or psychogenesis. the fears of our animal past will be gone, and with it debilitating belief systems.

  it's like a prophecy of the death of yhwh, and the birth of you, the human being.

  Believer, Agnostic or Atheist?

  i am curious, what amount people on this board from their experiences of being a baptised & active jw and their subsequent exit from the jw org (for whatever reason or reasons) are now either agnostic, atheist or do some actually still believe in god?.

  i can only choose between the three?

  well, i guess i am all three then.

  atheist: i do not believe in yhwh or zeus. i guess this makes you an atheist too, unless you believe in zeus.

  agnostic: because i am just too lazy to know for sure about the thousands of other gods.

  believer: i believe in my own god nature. therefore i am a believer, and a pantheist by extension, not to mention a host of other things including buddhist, anarcho-gnostic, hindu, conscious rastafari, native spiritualist and the list actually goes on.

  one of the main things i have learned in leaving the borg, is that you can actually believe in the best from all spiritual practices without any cognitive dissonance.

  The first politician

  an archeological team, digging in washington dc, has uncovered 10,000 year old bones and fossil remains of what is believed to be the firs politician.

  they could not decide if he/she was a republican or democrat; not enough difference to make an accurate determination.... .

  i've found this article that rang so true to me.

  i share as sacred just about everything described, though in last few months i've found myself betraying my own values.

  so i'm glad i found this reminder, these are defintely going on my wall as my own 20 commandments.

  hey zagor,

  i agree, capt jack sparrow is something else! that was a cool synopsis. and so true! lol!

  This led me to question...what is it this seemingly drunken character inspires in viewers?

  the only other thing i would add is that the character and the movie did as well as it did because it was Johnny Depp who played captain jack sparrow. and i think that depp understood what he had to do with that character from personal experience. i am skeptical of whether any other actor could have pulled it off so perfectly. and this is why the success of the movie did not surprise me at all. it was johnny depp, after all, who made it, imho.

  yo FMZ! ya man, totally, we should talk sometime. i think it's wild that you have been on a mckenna trip too, heheh. have you been able to listen to any of the .mp3s of mckenna over at deoxy.org? they have tonnes. mckenna is one of the most entertaining diversions that i have ever been on in all honesty. and yes, of course, i am not sure where i stand on the novelty theory and 2012 etc etc either. i just find it a fascinating concept. have you ever read anything on the technological singularity my raymond kurzweil? "the age of spiritual machines" is an interesting one. but i agree with your synopsis of 2012 and the evolution of human consciousness in comparison to a collapse to a singularity.

  and of course i am skeptical about a literal date of dec 21 2012. and some days i look at novelty theory in relation to the i ching divination system he worked out into a testable hypothesis, and i wonder if it wasn't just him choosing the date of dec 21 2012, and working backwards from that and sort of making all the "times" of novelty fit the fractal pattern. he did however, on the art bell radio show, actually say that when he arrived at dec 21 2012 he was completely unaware that the mayan system used the same date as "the end of time". i can get you the mp3 if you like. trippy hey? imo, i do believe that "time" and other cosmological systems are fractal in nature if we took the time to superimpose the fractal onto the system, but i wonder..... i wonder.... lol. but in that way, i sort of get the singularity concept, and i sort of understand *intuitively* how between now and 2012, everything that would have to occur would occur (if it is exponetial afterall). but i guess i will just have to see! either way, it's going to be a *trip* and a half... ;)

  as a matter of side interest in the whole 2012 phenomenon. have you ever read anything by daniel pinchbeck? he just came out with a new book called "2012: the return of quetzalcoatl". he's a fan of mckenna too, and a proponent of DMT as a shamanic tool to be used in the coming group evolution of our consciousness. but i like his divergence from mckenna, and it reminded me a little more of what you said regarding 2012. he thinks that 2012 is really just a metaphor, although a good one. but that the only way that 2012 will ever be something of remarkability is if we get our asses in gear (intentions) and make the world into a better place instead of waiting for some power from the sky to come and do it for us. and i like this concept, for sure.

  if there is some reality to any of this, i guess it means that we may have a better grasp on where the universe is going, than on where it is coming from.

  reasons, not excuses -- even valid ones (like, "i was ignorant, depressed, fooled").. yours in the sense that you can still own (to) them -- even though you now know the "answer" was wrong.. this obviously applies to those who became jws -- hence mostly not born-in, although some of the latter might admit to having chosen the jw way for themselves at a certain stage of their childhood or teenage years.. this question is triggered by a previous conversation with purplesofa on another thread:.

  i think most of us that came in and not born in were searching.

  our hearts were pure in our search.
