i don't define spirituality as supernatural. i am not convinced there is a need to. i see humans as endowed with all the tools for a spiritual life at birth, by nature. our brains produce the strongest psychedelic substance known to man, dimetheltryptamine. DMT can also be extracted from many plants, and has been used as a spiritual sacrament by south american shamans for millenia. DMT has been implicated in OBE, NDE and other types of "pan-dimensional" spiritual experiences. if anyone is interested in more information about DMT, the pineal gland and spirituality/expansion of consciousness, here are some links:

i do define spirituality as expansion of consciousness. evolution of psychological and philosophical concepts. the art of being. comunion with nature. a benevolent acceptance of my history. the beatitude of reason.
i also approach cannabis sativa as a sacrament. i personally think that it has played a fairly large role in the evolution of human spirituality over the last several millenia. for me, cannabis + spinoza =
