i've heard that the name was removed from the old testament, but that it doesn't appear in the new testament.

Watchtower or Awake ??

some jw's came to our home yesterday and my hubby got out of a bath to answer the door.

they left him a magiazine, not sure what it is.

it did not have awake or watchtower on it.

It's almost funny, when I ask one or two pointed questions during bible study, we immediately have to read scriptures about how treacherous the heart is and don't lean on your own understanding, and it doesn't belong to us to direct our own steps, Then it's:

"Oh, and by the way crank, did you know you're a pile of imperfect animated dirt? "

Also, He says the word/name Jehovah means "causes to become"

But I've read elsewhere that it means "I am"

What's up with that?
