He's definitely a socialist. Of course he keeps all his money offshore so it wouldn't be subject to any kind of socialist taxation that he is so in favor of shoving down all of our throats. Personally, I have no desire to live under a socialist dictatorship/regime, and that is exactly what we are headed for if people like Hilary Clinton and George Soros get their way. There is no issue with him having money/making money. Good for him for making a success of himself, however he did it. That is the American dream/way and everyone has a right to make their fortune. But to have the lifestyle he does while preaching socialist dictator-type government that would take the money away from OTHERS who have earned it, throwing his money behind anyone who will push that twisted ideal, and pushing for the freedoms that are the basis of this country to be destroyed is the problem. His bank balance is NOT the reason he is being slammed.

I think it is fan-freakin-tastic that she got the jail sentence. IMO, she got the white glove special treatment by not being sent off to jail the FIRST time she violated her parole- which is likely what would have happened to a "mere mortal". She got a slap on the hand for driving drunk, and then blatantly thumbed her nose at the conditions of her EASY parole (how hard is it to rent a limo driver when you have unlimited funds or hire someone to drive you?) , and now it's "too harsh" to send the little princess to jail? Give me a break! Though I doubt she will actually learn anything from the experience, it is gratifying to see that they judge didn't let her off the hook.

Effective Ways To Lose Weight
by minimus inmy daughter's husband, her 2 best girlfriends and my ex are taking these mysterious pills that cut their appetite.
within 1 month they have all lost between 20 to 25 lbs.
when i saw my sil the other day, i didn't recognize him even though i had seen him 3 weeks before.

Low carb works for me when I follow it, and excercise. I'd be EXTREMELY wary of those pills. Bad news I'm sure.
As for hoodia, they have done tests on pills that claim to contain it and a good number turned out not to have any hoodia in it at all.
Green tea has a lot of health benefits, helps with appetite as well. Much better choice to add that to a healthy lower carb way of eating than pop a pill. Anything that easy can't be healthy.

Is It "Wrong" To Say That Someone "Sounds" Black??
by minimus ini saw boston legal this past tuesday and denny crane said he was impressed by the "articulate" man who didn't "sound" black.
this caused an uproar!!!
in a re-run on curb your enthusiasm, larry david makes a comment that's insulting to a black person and has to immediately apologize for being politically incorrect.. your opinion on this question, please..

Ugh... I so hate it when people get bent about stuff like this. (not saying that you are minimus- I realize you are starting a "topic for conversation")
I think that "political correctness" is a scourge. It is an excuse for people to remove their backbone and whine like they have been personally wronged just because someone says something they don't agree with. I think people need to learn to deal with being offended and stop trying to make everyone and their uncle "happy" and stop appologizing for actually(gasp!) daring to have an opinion that might be different, or might "bother" someone!
I for one applaud anything politically incorrect. And I love Boston legal. And no, I don't think that comment on Boston Legal was racist, it was simply an observation. The racist accusation is so overused. I am certainly not saying that racists don't exist, but the accusation is passed out much to often in circumstances that do not warrant it, but that is a whole other topic that opens up a rant I don't have time for right now.

(((sass))) sorry for what you are going through right now.
I second what chell said. It works wonders in those 'I think I am going to die' panic attacks like you describe. I used to have a lot more than I do now. Now, for the most part I can talk myself out of a full blown attack, and just knowing that I have the Xanax if I need it is usually enough of a calming influence. I do utilize some of that slow breathing techniques, and they can help, as silly as they may seem.
Talk to your doctor about some medication to go with your counselling, and try to find a therapist that you can relate to in order to talk your family issues through with. Hang in there, it does get better!

Yes he was wrong, incredibly so. Even if his court mandated time was missed, that was an issue to take up between attorney's, not with the daughter. But her mother is just as wrong for being willing to publicly embarass her daughter by airing private information, in an effort to get back at her ex. Seems to me that they are both lacking.

I need HELP and INPUT!!!!!
by webmustang ini need to know something and i need help finding out the truth:.
if i retired from military as pharmacist, before becoming a witness and receive pension every month + benefits, is it contradictory with witnesses not being part of military?.
should i give up my pension to be in tune and harmony with our beliefs?.
-
caligirl
You have no responsibility to anyone or anything to give up your hard earned pension for any reason. It is a part of your livelyhood, and likely necessary to your family as well.
That is my opinioin, and I can't provide any scriptural backing. In my opinion, no scriptural backing is needed for such a matter. It doesn't matter where the money came/continues to come from, you earned it. You pay taxes too, so consider it your tax dollars at work, paying you back for the hard work you put in. Best wishes.

You are practically downtown, so the choices are pretty much endless as far as restaurants go!
There is a place called Fred's Mexican Cafe in Old Town that we have been to a few times that was pretty good. It would also be easy to find if you are meeting up with others who might not be familiar with the area.
