  Who is directing them?

  jws claim to be led by god.

  he is directing their organisation by his spirit.. they believe that smoking is wrong, in fact a disfellowshipping offense.

  so why did god not tell them that smoking was wrong?.

  Why was it scientists, who they only agree with when it suits them, who gave them this spiritual insight?

  That's an interesting thought regarding science. when you think in the whole scheme of what they believe. Regarding using blood transfusions and using blood components, science and medicine is wrong. The thought that a past world wide flood is very unlikely if not a fantasy, science is wrong. Jerusalem being destroyed in 586bc vs. 607bc, science is wrong. Science is ONLY right when they can use it to push their beliefs, then they do out of their way to show that even science backs them up!!!

  i just saw a documentary called "the corporation".

  very disturbing.. one premise put forth likened our reality to those who first experimented with flying.

  they formed contraptions with wings and jumped off cliffs.

  I was raised to be a pessimist, like most dub's are. Always afraid of the future, fear of the "great war", afraid of not making the cut to get in. Always afraid I'm not doing enough. But now, I'm growing to be very optimistic. The future is can be bright and is what you make it or what you perceive it to be. One thing to keep in mind though, fear is a large and well used political tool. Both side use it. Democrats use fear against Social Security reform, "Republicans and the like want to take all SS and force you to live on cat food." Republicans have used it, "terrorist's have nukes and will use them." You have to take shows like that with a grain of salt. Fear is being used as a tactic, in that instance, against capitalism. edited to add: I just checked the shows website. It was made with help from Michael Moore and my fav, Noam Chomsky. There's a couple guys with an agenda !!!!!

  what I was told, a long time ago, is that they were real. But, Noah couldn't fit them in the ark so they all perished. And as Katie pointed out, inthe old green bible, there was a picture of one just inside the front cover.

  Today's speaker - statistics re terrorism

  according to today's speaker: up till 1971 there had only been 24 people killed by terrorists.

  by 1983 there had been 17,000 and it's still on the rise.

  my question: what is the definition of terrorism?

  so, does this scripture deal with the condition of the dead or what happens to it.

  quickely note that there are two compnets to 'his thoughts do perish', a) his spirit goes out, b)he goes back to his ground.

  Emotional tension release

  when you feel emotionally tense how do you release the tension?

  by laughing, socialising, playing computer games, or some other way?

  for me it's humour really funny ideas come to mind and make me laugh a lot, also by doing some sport such as swimming, listening to nice music and of course by socialising.

  ok, i'm finally starting some dialogue with my brother, i've let him know that i have questions that no one can answer, and he says to send them over so he can either answer them or get answers, and that no question is disallowed or "apostate".

  I think he almost has enough to go on the the FDS topic. Your bro already said jesus picked the WTS to be the FDS. We just had a lovely talk at the DC about the the remnant on Earth make up the FDS. And the remnant use the GB to "feed the people." It's been my experience the remnant are nothing more then a curiosity and that's only when the memorial rolls around. I would explore and do research on the FDS versus who is really in charge. Bringin' up topics like the NGO connection or 607 may close the door on you......have to be careful with them. Most are like a deer in headlights then run like hell when challenged.
