I do remember as a young witness, the windows in our KH were constantly targeted for smashing....so after 2 years of constantly replacing the glass, they remodeled, and they removed the windows completely... end of troubles.....

The small size of KH windows
by helios init was only a few days ago when driving through a small town in the uk i noted a kh.
nothing unusual except that one side wall was totally devoid of anything.
the other side of the building revealed three very small windows, and i mean small.

I left the arrogance of the JW society, formerly known as "da troof", and lo and behold, if I wasn't told by a co-worker, that I'm headed for hell in a hand-bag if I don't get saved......That threw me for a loop, are all the other religions just as arrogant??? If that's the case, then I won't be looking for salvation through any church.....maybe Ghandi had it right???? Or the Dali Lama??? they seem to be more humble??? But I think the JW's are in their own little world, and if that's what they call "spiritual paradise," then they can keep it to themselves , they don't seem all that happy about it.

Funny, when my brother left the borg, he began telling me all the crazy stories about the elders meetings with the MS's. and no, they don't want to do any REAL shepherding....they sit and judge people, make jokes about different ones, and talk smack about others....he was sickened by what he saw....there were some who were truly in dire straits, and the elders made sure there was no time to visit these ones. or they passed the buck, and sent someone with little experience to do their dirty work for them....and they call themselves Jahs servants??? hahahahahahahahahahahathey were more interested in their social lives....

Swiftbreeze, you said it all.....when I think of the people in my old KH, you are absolutely right!!!! They are all running that great race, and woe to those who may stumble and fall along the way....they sure as hell aren't going to take the time to stop to help anyone....selfish sons of bee-otches....with the exception of a few of the older ones, but the rest won't stop to help them either.....way to put it perspective Swift....thanx.

LOL Sirona.....did you have any "witch" stuff, like info books for sale hahahaha. and if you did, they still bought at your sale?? that would be too funny. Mom used to freak out if there was anything like that at a yard sale, she'd grab us and run....hahahahahaha We usually join in with our neighbourhood and have a sale in July, it's a lot of fun, especially when the JW's come round, during service.....

Regrets
by pratt1 injust wondering:.
do you every regret the way you treated or shunned faders, d/a, or d/f people in the past while you wonder under the influence of the "cult".. if so have you every gone back to any of those people said that you were sorry?.
i ask because there are a few people in my past that i discarded so easily and quickly, i am really conidering tracking them down in the hopes of making amends.. i don't know if it would do any good, but i know that i would feel better.

I have no regrets, as I never shunned anyone. I always felt it was the wrong thing to do, so I would go out of my way to speak to different ones and make sure they knew that I was their friend no matter what!!! After all, we are just humans,we all make mistakes , and we have no right to make another person feel like they are scum....
