  Sport: bringing out the worst in JWs

  in my time involved with the jws, i used to play a lot of football nearly every week with the bros. i used to find it amazing and laughable how some, including elders, would start name calling and getting aggresive, sometimes to the point of making threats.

  it made me realise that football and other sports can show the true character of individuals.

  has anyone here experienced things like this when playing sports with jws?

  Whenever I see Jehovah's Witnesses playing any sport, it always looks like two monkeys screwing a football.

  I don't understand why humans even bothered creating such a stupid idea like ego in the early makings. The gods must be crazy.

  if you could go back intime and change just one thing...what would it be...can be something in your life or in history that would have changed your life but something more original than being contacted by jw.

  i was discussing with my mother (still a jw in good standing) and we were laughing about how in every watchtower, when they show "good christian witnesses" at someone's home or doing family activities, they always wear khakis, without fail.

  and whenever they show "worldly" people, they are wearing jeans.

  have y'all noticed this?

  I just noticed that in the recent Awake for April 22nd 2005 on page 16 there are two young people dressed very nicely and then on page 17 they show the guy with the hat on backwards and a drink in hand. I don't understand. They are starting to frown on alcohol a lot more heavily lately.

  I missed one ministry school meeting last week and got hounded for it too.

  poor quality psychiatrist at bethel???.

  would they ever tell gb members they are are delusional for thinking they are god's sole channel on earth??

  that's what these guys need isn't it a psychiatrist that is both skillful and brave enough to tell the gb and other higher ups that they are suffering from dellusions of being god's channel of communication.

  I bet they have problems with that. If they had good pschologists they would be in trouble for sure.
