Sorry to hear of the pain you're going through now. Don't give them too much capacity to hurt you. If a god was in any way attached to them, the first thing you'd get when you raise questions and concerns is support and answers. JWs shoot their wounded.

The Day Has Arrived
by concerned x intwo months ago i stepped down as an elder in the cong, it was a tremdous relief although a shock to the cong.
two and a half days ago i sent in a letter of explaination concerning why i wanted to step down and why i will be absent from the kh.
it only took two and a half days for the accusation of apostasy to be made against me.

I appreciate your story, but I find it hard to believe, and kind of haughty of you to assume any man would go through all the efforts of courtship, and everything that goes with it, just so he could have the pleasure of finally getting in your pants. Damn; are you some super model or something? Even if you were, NO MAN is going to go thru all that JW courtship crap just so he could finally get some action.
I just wanted to address this comment: yes, now that I'm not a witness, I can see that believing that was haughty, but in my (and jibberish's) defence, all I'd been told all my life about non-JW men was that the only thing they want is to get into womens pants, and they'll do anything to do it. It also hadn't occurred to me that courting a JW is hellish hard work and that any man who wants to put himself through it is worth his weight in gold, or at least a little action. I suspect that most JW girls were raised with the same delusions.

Pro JW newspaper article on Blood transfusions
by jwfacts inthe following article appear at http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2007/05/27/1180205077463.html.
it makes some interesting pro jw observations such as:.
not having a blood transfusion can increase the change of survivalsynthetic blood now has oxygen carrying capabitieshowever, before the wts gets carried away it also says.

No doubt a significant amount of HLC propaganda is behind this article. It sounds like they've just reprinted a Shannon Farmer press release. I'm a blood donor now, and I'm horrified at the lies I was convinced of only a few years ago thanks to those guys. There's a big difference between convincing a cardiothoracic surgeon to use a laser scalpel and bleeding out in the ER with no chance of survival after a car accident. JWs however will read this article and believe that the entire medical profession thinks they're heroes.

No, it's not funny. It's reality....wonder why
by watson inmakin' the friend's email rounds, enjoy!
funny how... not so funny!
funny how we call jehovah our father and jesus our friend, but find it hard to introduce them to our family & friends.

It's actually pretty good anti-JW propaganda. Most people will read it and feel guilt, but some people will read it and think "You're right. I so don't want to be here. What the hell am I sticking with this for?"

Caught Wife Cheating
by roflcopter inso i posted a while back about my marriage problems.... whole new gambit thrown into the mix.
i've had suspicions all along that something like this might be happening... but only just not confirmed that she's been cheating on me... with another jw that she works with!
she could have been more discreet about it rather than leave all the text messages on her phone.

I'm so sorry that this has happened, how horrid for you. I agree with some other people here; you can get through this and emerge from it eventually very happy. One day you'll probably put it in the list of top ten things that ever happened to you. In the meantime, remind yourself every day that you're a top bloke, and she's a cheat and doesn't deserve you.
Something ugly I feel the need to mention now re JW rules, and I apologise as I realise it's none of my business, but it might be something that hasn't occurred to you. In a JW marriage, if a spouse cheats and the other decides not to forgive them, the victim can divorce and remarry without facing any JW repercussions; that's probably not something you care about at this point. A technicality they don't mention much is that if the victim then sleeps with their husband/wife again, that is considered forgiveness for the adultery, and the victim loses their get-out-of-marriage free card. It creates some ugly situations, I'll tell you one I know of: My mate, we'll call her Joan, discovered that her abusive JW husband had cheated on her. She decided to leave him, but had slept with him in meantime. Five years later Joan is divorced and remarries, and she is disfellowshipped for adultery, and her ex-husband is made an elder.

I'm graduating tommorrow
by Shawn10538 init's been a nine year battle, but i'm finally graduating from college with a bachelor's degree and a certificate.
it's important to me that this community knows that.
there are probably a lot of you here who didn't allow themselves to go to college.

HOORAY!!!!
I'll get there, honest. It's one thing to blame the society and unsupportive family for a lack of education, it's another entirely to go out and fix it. I hope it really pays off for you.

Hello and WELCOME! Ah, 30. Such a precious year. I was tragic on my thirtieth, I booked a holiday and at midnight I was panicking, it seemed like this freight train was coming and I couldn't stop it, it was going to just run me over. It turned out just fine. Not long after I was disfellowshipped, and live has improved immeasurably.
