When in doubt, save both documents as seperate named files in another folder, then delete the one you want to delete. If the other one mysteriously vanishes, oops!, but at least you made a backup in a different location.

I'm not as completely discouraged as alone is, since I can vicariously fix my mistakes of the past by making sure my kids don't have to repeat them.
But I wish I could go back in time and kick my younger self, and my parents, in the a$$ for flat out turning down the help my High School counselor offered in trying to get me to college. She was so pissed off at me a year later, when I saw her at my brother's high school graduation. She pretty much told me that I blew it. And she was right!
So, Mrs. Green, if you are reading this, you were right! I was an idiot, part of a larger group of idiots. But they won't get their hooks in my kids! They will be going to college, and they will be pursuing things that will enrich their lives much more than selling magazines!

I was reflecting on the high loss of life in places like China, Myanmar, etc.
When you concentrate a population to saturation levels with a small area, and then hit that area with a major calamity, what else can be expected? Combine this with outmoded or outright shoddy construction and a closed and suspicious bureacratic mindset for a government,and that spells death on a massive scale.
I just saw on the news that if San Francisco or LA get hit with "The Big One" that has been anticipated for many years now, the death toll will be high, but will be measured in the low thousands, as opposed to tens of thousands like the past week in Asia.

and if you make more than $200k/yr, you are "rich", and defined as such you will get soaked; thus, you will have little incentive to keep earning what you do now,--the opportunity to make a nice profit will simply not be there....and all of us working stiffs fortunate enough to make over $50 k/ yr, you better hold on to your wallets as well... we are going to pay for the social security bailout.

I'll revise my statement. Some of the Obama haters haven't been fat, or necessarily rich, or particularly stupid. But they do seem to be taking all their cues on how to react to Obama from pundits and demagogues that fit into this category.

Do you honestly believe that any sizable portion of the population of this board will even be affected by this?
And as far as having to pay for medical coverage...I already do! I pay $440 a month for insurance with high copays and deductibles!

At least we can take comfort in the fact that this camp is no longer in business, due to the bad press, and the fact that their patron saint Ted Haggard was revealed to be a drug taking, closeted homosexual that, as charismatic as he apparently was, he still had to pay for sex.
I feel sorry for kids who are robbed of any real enjoyment and fun of just being a kid. It's too soon that your care-free days are behind you. These kids were bombarded with the idea that they were sinful beings who needed redemption. A ten year old needs redemption!? Wow!
