I got a bottle of raw apple cider vinegar at Wal Mart not too long ago, a 32 oz bottle is $4.24 here, however the pasturized clear bottle of apple cider vinegar is about $1.50.

i've been drinking 1 tbs with a glass of water twice daily for digestion for about 3 weeks now.
i've found it helps, but it also acts as an appetite suppressant; i've lost several pounds since using it.
i'm consuming fewer calories because i'm just not as hungry as before.

after a one year sucessful fade and no longer associated with any congreation, i was visiting my sister this week (who goes to the meeting to please her husband for now; i am slowly planting seeds though) and they decided to year this weeks midweek meeting via the telephone.
since i was a guest in her house, i sat with them in the living room to hear the meeting.
to my surprise (especially growing up as a gay jw with still alot of anger in my heart over how i was treated), the talks 2 and 3 where on, of course, homosexualiy.

Im sure somewhere some preachers are screaming at their congregation that the ebola virus breakout is the result of God's wrath for some of the states allowing gay marriage.

let the Supreme being who allowed this to exist pass judgement.
You just passed judgement on homosexuals by calling them immoral people.

It is known that only about three out of every one hundred operated upon for appendicitis really have a diseased appendix needing removal. We give below a simple cure for appendicitis symptoms. The pain in the appendix region is caused by the biting of worms near the junction of the transverse colon with the small intestines, low down on the right side of the abdomen. This remedy is recommended also for typhoid fever, which is also a worm disease. The medicine is Santonine dose, 3 grains, an hour before breakfast; repeated for four mornings, or until all the symptoms disappear. Then one dose per month for three months to eradicate all germs. This recipe is of INCALCULABLE VALUE. Not only will it save the surgeon's and hospital fees of perhaps $200, but it saves weeks of ill health, inconvenience, convalescence and loss of salary.

i just saw this news piece, http://www.onenewsnow.com/legal-courts/2014/08/25/catholic-workers-ordered-to-attend-jehovah%e2%80%99s-witness-services#.u_uee_ldv8e.
the ninth u.s. circuit court of appeals has issued a ruling that workers at a home for the disabled must attend a jehovahs witness worship service with patients who wish to attend.. in 2009, california instructed san gabriel/pomona regional center to have staff escort a jehovah's witness patient to services, but two catholic employees objected and sued on the grounds that their faith requires they only attend catholic services.. brad dacus, founder of pacific justice institute, says it's an interesting case.. we have the rights of employees under title 7, which requires reasonable accommodation for the sincerely held religious beliefs of employees, he says.
in this case, arguably that would mean not requiring these particular employees to have to sit in and attend a jehovahs witness church service.. the attorney says employers should do everything they can to meet employees faith needs, but also cannot forget the needs of the disabled in this situation.
You mean the disabled or elderly could not get one of their spiritual brothers or sisters to offer them a ride or transportion to the meeting instead having to depend on somebody worldly to take them to the kingdumb hall? Says a lot about JWs in general these days.

don't know quite what to say.
just stunned at the news.
comic genius and actor.. share your favorite robin williams moments.. .
the old guys sided with hobby lobby today in denying birth control coverage to its female employees based on the owners religious views.
intact- is viagra for the guys.
funny how the far right evangelical owners of hobby lobby didn't want to touch that one.... read judge ginburg's scathing counter argument and opinion.. www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/13pdf/13-354_olp1.pdf.

letter read that the society will no longer be making hardcover books.
also the told people to not place orders for daily texts or calendars if they had the ability to download these.
who downloads a calendar?
Like WTWizard said, just get a regular calender without having to print one. In fact, it's cheaper just to buy a calendar at places like The Dollar Tree. Hell, you can even get a paperback bible there.

gerry goffin's name may not jump out of your memory box but he sure wrote some of the most remembered songs on the past 60 years.. married to another great song writer, carol king, he leaves a treasure of great memories.. will you still love me tomorrow.
tonight i celebrate my love.
savin' all my love for you.
I LOVE Gerry Goffin and Carole King!!!! I didn't know he wrote the Theme from Mohogany, however I knew he wrote Saving all my love for you and Crying in the rain, both of which I played on the piano all the time. Losing these gifted entertainers, singers, songwriters really has had an emotional effect on me. Not long ago I was upset that Hal David died, Kasey Casem and now Gerry Goffin. Music, especially oldies or classics from the 50s, 60s and 70s were literally the soundtrack of my life. Couldnt imagine how my life would be like without his songs. Here is one of his songs I really like, especially Carole's version
