maybe this has been addressed before, but after reading certain comments about people being "outed", i wonder if the wts really monitors this site?
if so, to what extent?
or is it just individual elders etc.?.
only if you new what i new then you wouldnt be asking this question
LOL... PMJ always cracks me up... he tries so hard to sound so darn smart and then makes all kinds of spelling mistakes like "new"!! Watch out PMJ, with spelling like that a local elder could find you pretty easily!! LOL Posting on an apostate board, tsk tsk. I am sure they watch... why not? They are a publishing company after all, thsy don't actually follow their own rules!
where i live, you can smell the odor of paper mills.
it's a port city and people speak french here.
i think the average age of people here is one of the higest in canada.. there is a shrine that attracts many tourists in the summer time.
Acsot, there is the Just for Laughs festival... and the Gay Pride Parade, not to mention St Patrick's Day...
:-)

An island and a mountain with a beautiful Cathedral and a unique cultural mix.
when i first left the witnesses, i had some times of being really pissed at all the wasted time and the way the people acted.
i remember one time, my spouse and i decided to just get ripped.
we did and as we did, we laughed and even cried at times over the issues.
drink... no. smoke... yess....
i apologize if i am re-posting a topic that was already discussed, but i have a question:.
i was baptised when i was 14 and disfellowshipped at 17... major life changing decisions all made before i was 18. .
has anyone ever tried to have their baptisim/disfellowshipping annulled based on the fact that they were too young to enter into such a contract?
<div>Even by their own standerds: "Elders will take into consideration the background, ability and other circumstances of each baptisimal candidate. Our interest is in those whose hearts are turned to Jehovah and who have grasped the sense of fundamental Bible truths." -Organized to Accompish our Ministry, 1989 However, in the YPA book under Chapter "Should I leave home?" "Ready for Independence? But does the fact that you desire independence mean that you are ready for it?...what about your mental, emotional and spiritual maturity? You may fancy yourself to be a grown-up but your parents may still see in you some of the "traits of a babe" (1 Cor 13:11)" Basically, you are not ready to leave home at 17 but you can decide to be a dedicated servant of Jehovah's for the REST OF YOUR LIFE when you are 14. It just doesn't make sense!!</div>

"With children, contracts can be voided at their request if they are not beneficial to the child. " hmmm... http://www.duhaime.org/contract/ca-con2.aspx#child
the bible speaks of 2 slaves.
there's the faithful and discreet slave, and the evil slave.
although the bible only mentions the terms "faithful and discreet slave" twice and "evil slave" twice, the wtbts still likes to put their spin on it, and turn it into 2 classes, the same as the sheep and the goats.
e·vil (e'v?l) 1. The quality of being morally bad or wrong; wickedness. 2. That which causes harm, misfortune, or destruction: a leader's power to do both good and evil. 3. An evil force, power, or personification. 4. Something that is a cause or source of suffering, injury, or destruction: the social evils of poverty and injustice. slave (slav) 1. One bound in servitude as the property of a person or household. 2. One who is abjectly subservient to a specified person or influence: “I was still the slave of education and prejudice” (Edward Gibbon) For all their interpretation, all they had to do was look up the meanings of the word Evil and Slave... to me that points very clearly at who the TRUE "Evil Slave" class is.

If the WTBS is calling me Evil, than I am doing something right! :-)

WOW! 11... that is wayyy to young! They boast that they don't baptize infants but really an 11 year old is no more prepared to make that decision!
