Since 9/11 there has been a tremendous amount of tax money that has been spent on the cleanup and rebuild effort. This benefits the people of NY including the WTS. What did they do to help out? Anything?

How would JWs run a country if they had one?

can anybody imagine what it would be like to live in a country run by jws?

what would they call it?

what laws would they have?

It would be similar to the middle east. There was a WT once where they said the only reason they dont stone apostates to death is because it breaks the current laws. I wonder what would happen though because they wont have anyone getting higher education? Society would stagnate.

Defd no one is going to asnwer your questions because WE ALL KNOW WHAT YOUR MOTIVES ARE. That question has been answered many times on this board. You arent really looking for answers.

this milestone essay critically examines one of the religions main publications for teaching their children and new recruits about their blood beliefs, how can blood save your life?

the peer-reviewed essay details many misrepresentations of medical facts, which the religion partly relies on to support its blood prohibition, thus denying its members from making fully informed medical decisions.

you have dodged them all for the most part and spent your replies on personal attacks, or just plain refusal to address the questions posed.

your favorite retort is typically ad hominen attacks or a red-herring thown in for good measure.

It has been PROVEN that the answers that they look for have been discussed with them many many times before. Look at some in here. They have talked to P.O'S, C.O'S, Elders and even written the society. I CANNOT tell them anything DIFFERENT. It would be the same. Sincerly.Those who come here will find the answer, one way or another, I honestly bel;ieve that.

Socialization of JW Kids

through the course of my university studies in social sciences there seems to be a repeated emphasis on early socialization shaping personality and having a drastic effect on the long term life of kids.

studies of extreme neglect are often the only ones cited, such as children locked in a closet for the early years of their lives with no human contact.

it's lead me to wonder about the long term effects of jw socialization on youths that are raised in the organization.

My step-daughter spent about 9 months living with my MIL, a devout jw, about a year ago. I must say the results of that period of time have had some disturbing results.

She had her birthday party about a month ago. My mother in law came over that morning, and my step daughter asked my wife if she had told my MIL that she was having the party. When my wife said yes, my step-daughter was upset because she said her grandmother will be mad at her. She told my wife that she was just going to tell her grandmother she was going out to dinner.

So at 6 years old she already feels the guilt the jw's put on you. She has learned to lie to make her grandmother happy. In essence she has learned to live a double life already.

Also this morning she woke up crying because she said she had a bad dream that someone took her and killed her. Her grandmother was always telling her that everyone is so bad and to watch out.

As far as socializing, my wife has shared with me that she was always forbidden to play with worldy kids. Growing up they moved MANY times because her mother didnt want her playing with those kids. I am sure all of this has had a negative effect on my wife.
