did the serpent put himself in harms way to "free" us and open new information, bringing us to his level, or was he trying to get worship like the "elders" today.
what would happen, if he told us to follow jesus, obey his commands, and seek after jesus?
the "elders" don't want that, would the "serpent"?

Have you ever heard a serpent talk? Have you ever had a serpent tell you to do something? Is there any real proof that serpents have ever had the ability to speak? What is a serpent? What would you do if a serpent was speaking to you? What would you do if someone told you that a serpent was talking to them? What would you think?

it was dawning on me last night how much i wish i'd gone to one of my judicial committees so i could have surreptitiously recorded it.
as i rolled that thought around in my head, i thought, "what would they do if you did it, then threatened to make it public?
" before a jc, they always tell you that recording devices are not allowed and ask you if you have one.
I believe in most states it is illegal to record a conversation if none of the parties know. If you were in the room...no problem. If you taped from outside the door and you could hear its ok. But I dont think you can legally bug the room.

My wife ran into a jw the other day..........he said they are waiting for one more thing to happen. He said all that has to happen is for the gov's to turn on the jws and then the great trib will start.
i am planning to address the problem of misquotations with some jws.
i have told them before about the creation book and they said that apostates had been in the org in the past.
anyways i am looking for some more recent ones to show them and see what they have to say.

my wife ran into a witness yesterday and he told her that they are waiting for one more thing to happen, the governments to attack religion, and when that happens it will be too late for her to get into the new system.
i guess he was trying to scare her back to the meetings.. so my wife wants to know what are the prophecies that have been fulfilled according to the wts.

Wouldnt it be brilliant............The GB sees the end is very near. So they hook-up with another religion, maybe the zondervan co., or scientology, and sell the whole shabang to them, property and all. Then over a period of a couple months they humbly tell the sheep they were wrong and advise them to follow the direction of this new super-religion. After they have succesfully led the sheep to the new fold, the GB and a few cronies collect the rest of the money from the other religion and disapear.
Then its all done. There will be nobody to sue, the WTS will have no more assets, and the GB will be filthy rich!
