NEW policy! NO LIT for EX-JWs!
by MinisterAmos init's official; they read the letter tonight that puts forth the new procedure.
if you find an expelled person in the field or are studying with one, you are no longer permitted to give them lit.
presumably the elders make a decision if an expelled one is regularly attending meetings, but only they can give them lit.

I got married yesterday!
by Gadget ini've been posting on here for four years now, and so much has changed in my life.
everything seemed to be going wrong then, but time has done wonders and things are real good now.
lots of people on the board helped and supported me through that, as well as new non-witness friends that i made.

i klnow its hard but its good that you are going on a date with someone else i'm intrigued is it a date date?? i,ve often thought it would be easier to be with a woman,
i think what i found hard when i spilt up with my first ex is that i put him before my family, and i think you,re in a simliar position as i was which maybe thats why you are clinging to him as you don,t have your family around,
or am i completely wrong!!!

HELPING DANSK!
by Dansk ini apologise for taking the liberty of using my alias to attract attention but a number of people have contacted me to ask what they could do to help by way of being a stem cell donor (without a stem cell donation soon i will likely die).
i cannot express enough just how appreciative i am for such wonderful thoughtful gestures.
it is possible that your stem cells are a perfect match for me and that you could literally save my life.. however, if you are not a match you could very well save someone else's life - so do please consider being a stem cell donor.

The art of shunning your disfellowshiped family. What does it require?
by jambon1 into most of us here, the practise of shunning a relative who disagrees with the religion, or who chooses a different path, is utterly evil, repulsive and inhumane.. i will never forget the real life stories i have heard relating to the heartbreak and misery that this 'doctrine' brings to families all over the world.
but, what does it take to see through the councel to shun your own children, mother or father?
in my opinion, a person who shuns their offspring or other family, is void of any natural love or affection.

they do it coz they firmly believe that if they dont you will never be back in the only place that will give you life,#
they do it bacause they think that we will lose our lives if they dont.
it kills them also they are angry as daniel p said, they honestly think they are doing the right thing#

i'm not a witness.
he confessed to his elders that he had sex with someone outside of marriage after his second divorce was already final.

ignore what i said before i didnt realise he was like that, and you may feel wrong for lying (tho i think you should deny things for someone you really love so they dont lose their family)#
BUT he just sounds awful and dont dare give him money (i've been there too!!!)

you know whaT you should do if you really wanna be with him, just lie!
i was getting reproved didnt tell full story and got dfed, this lady cannot tell you what hiss elders would do every hall is different
i'd tell your boyfriend you said his name without thinking but coz you feel bad if he's asked he should deny it, and tell him if your approached you will deny everything, then tell this lady that you exgaretted coz you were mad at him one night and you didnt mean it,
without your 'evidence' there is nothing they can do and your bf should be happy your willing to do that for him (tho he does sound alittle wierd!!)
i know it sounds bad but i will never confess anything anymore they have no right to judge or ruin peoples lives
don't let the witnesses win just deny deny deny
(sorry if i sound bad but i've been thru that much crap coz of the witnessess' rules, i just think you should do whats best for you and your bf and not give them a chance to ruin your lives!)

by Mary ingeeze, the memorial to remember your place in the organization jesus christ is next tueday i think.......anyone else getting roped into going besides me?
