Do those of you "born into the truth" have problems with relationships?
by marmot ini'm a 4th generation dub and i was the epitome of a goodie-two-shoes elder's son.
i was taught/brainwashed that dating was evil and only for mature brothers (i distinctly remember a part on the assembly with a "demonstration" that said even 24 years old was too young to date and you should concentrate on becoming a ms or pioneer first) and went through so much soul-destroying guilt because of the society's utterly ridiculous stance on masturbation that it almost drove me to suicide.
didn't help that my father the elder had a massive porn stash.

i've been dfed and had a lovely boyfriend and constantly took it out on him, i got reinstated and left and had anopther lovely boyfreind and got mad coz i was treatong him so nice he didnt appreciate everything i was feeling, (that i wasnt treating him the way i did the other)
and i got married to a dub when i was wrong that was crap too
conclusion....... get out there get laid do it ( but dont dare confess) you got to go thru things till you find the one!!!!!

I told my parents I no longer believe the Watchtower Society
by B_Deserter inthey insisted i come over for a debate, a chance for them to save me since according to my mother this was "a matter of life and death.
" basically i spent the whole evening passively nodding my head and acknowledging what they said.
i tried a few times to argue or debate but getting through to them was impossible.

as for standing up to your fa,mily i feel for you. so much, i'm having a hard time at the mo, and they really do veiw it as your life if your not going, i got dfed and reinstated for my family, so i'd say the 'fade' is always the way to go,

marriage and family in the "new system"
by luffy inmy ex came back from the convention and the subject came up of familiy, marriage etc...i asked, how they believe marriage family etc will stand in "paradise"...do they believe earthly marriages will still be valid and mates will still be together, or is that annuled!!
!..also, whether families now will once again be families then..he didnt seem to be sure.. just out of interest, could anybody shed some light on the witness beliefs on this?.

I thought the thought was that if your spouse died before armagadon you werent married. if you get thru together you're stuck together
but i never heard of if you were single thru armagadon you would stay single!!!! i thought that depended on when the earth filled up etc!!!!

I was the poineer straight from school aux for a few months then straight into regular up until two weeks before giving birth
did the hours even when they removed me once (what a mug!!!)

Memorial Partaker totals for 72 years by request!
by Atlantis inquestion from researcher: the other day you posted the australian peak publishers and i was wondering if it would be possible to post the numbers of the "memorial partakers" from 1935 to 2006. that would be about 72 years of totals.. my answer: yes, we can do that for you but it will take a few hours to get everything together and scanned.
i will have to use different forms of wt literature to accomplish this.. unless indicated otherwise, numbers listed show partakers for previous year and some could show: "still incomplete" but they are still listed as a total nevertheless.

what i found even more interesting is that people usually preferred a hair color different than their own.

bloody hell i'm changing my hair colour, i'm a blonde but guess i do prefer dark haired men!!
