by Podiatrist ini mean seriously, since im not a jw perhaps id have a different opinion about it all.
but a colleague from work says she dont want to come here as she got addicted to it and couldnt get anything else done.
she apparently knows of similar other cases.

average amount of homes?
by carla incan anyone tell me about what the average amount of homes are 'hit' in field service in one time of going?
i ask because i always said the day he goes door to door, so will i. i just 'hit' 54 mailboxes/newspaper boxes in a very short time.
(nice walk) i printed out the tri-fold from silentlambs and included the 'cease & desist' letter with "how to get on the jehovah's witness do not call list printed on the outside.

Sorry, I'm so annoyed with him I'm not thinking straight. In door to door service, who decides who rides with who? Furthermore, he claims he will not be paired up with the single dubs, I have seen other posts which say otherwise. In order to get baptized, doesn't one have to do some door to door work first? carla

I just went to their site and in the FAQ section you can email them your comments. Limited to 500 words. If this is federally funded they should produce another 'documentary'. If everybody would write they will think their donations could be at stake and do something! carla

Have you ever tried explaining judicial committee to a non-witness?
by TooOpinionated ini have, and i honestly don't seem to be getting the repercussions across.
my parents and siblings are not witnesses, so when i told them about the jc letter arriving, they just shrug their shoulders and say "so what?
have you ever had that experience?

I've never been jw, but even with all my research and reading so many stories, I still can't comprehend it sometimes. And when I read posts where someone has been out for such a long time, family doesn't talk to them anyway, why be upset by getting the letter? I have such a hard time even trying to explain jw's at all much less get into the judicial stuff! People think I am making stuff up!! Even family. Until they see something in the newspaper or hear somone else tell some kind of jw experience. Luckily my parents read C of C book and some jw book from the library. And most in the family are now starting to see the changes in husband. sad. carla

Elders wont answer my questions
by gringojj inwell i had written up 30 or so questions for the elders.
i made it very easy.
ther were mostly simple questions with yes or no answers.

They never answer any questions. So what can we do BUT come to the exjw's for answers!! And then we tell others about the org and how they cannot answer the simplest questions without first going to check with an elder on how they should think about a certain topic. carla
