Which avatars ''appeal'' to you (credit to jt stumbler)
by MidwichCuckoo inafter reading jt stumbler's topic on avatars, i recognised that certain avatars appeal to me, and i'm sure others feel the same.... .
elsewhere (no idea why, gimme a clue), ezekiel3 (says a lot), euphemism (loved the marx bros) and googlemagoogle (so classical) spring to mind, oh, ip_sec's last avatar (the red pyramid) - want to revert back ip_sec?
oh, and stillajwexelder - after reading your posting on jt stumbler's thread i realise i previously had the wrong impression - lol.

''HOME THOUGHTS FROM ABROAD'' - Clifford T. Ward (1973)
I could be a millionaire if I had the money
I could own a mansion, no I don't think I'd like that
But I might write a song that makes you laugh, now that would be funny
And you could tell your friends in England you'd like that
But now I've chosen aeroplanes and boats to come between us
And a line or two on paper wouldn't go amiss
How is Worcestershire? Is it still the same between us?
Do you still use television to send you fast asleep?
Can you last another week? Does the cistern still leak?
Or have you found a man to mend it?
Oh, and by the way, how's your broken heart?
Is that mended too? I miss you
I miss you, I really do.
I've been reading Browning, Keats and William Wordsworth
And they all seem to be saying the same thing for me
Well I like the words they use, and I like the way they use them
You know, Home Thoughts From Abroad is such a beautiful poem
And I know how Robert Browning must have felt
'Cause I'm feeling the same way about you
Wondering what you're doing and if you need some help
Do I still occupy your mind? Am I being so unkind?
Do you find it very lonely, or have you found someone to laugh with?
Oh, and by the way, are you laughing now?
'Cause I'm not, I miss you
I miss you, I really do.
I really do. -

Operation UN applseed. Covert convention evil slaving.
by avishai inwhat if hypothetically, legally, etc.

I didn't think of it as 'messing with others' stuff' - no damage, just a small piece of paper tucked in a book(That would be reaching an individual, who may not find it immediately) - it's quite lawful to put same under car-wipers in car parks. If you plant in 'bathrooms' maybe a few will get a brief look but I think anything will get swiftly removed and then the bathroom will be ''supervised''

I think Aude_Sapere's idea on another thread may work - plant flyers in Bibles / books left unattended on seats.

How To Enjoy Assemblies By Being Rebellious
by metatron in1. go out to lunch at every session.
bring back bags of fast food that say "burger king".
or "mcdonalds" on them.

To get more attention, you might have greater success planting messages in people's bibles. You know, like you are looking for your own bible and quickly leave a little paper inside so they find it later on.
Aude_Sapere - now THAT is genius. There is always lots of personal literature left on seats - brilliant opportunity to plant flyers.(unlike the car park which has attendants).

Was The Ministry Ever Rewarding To You?
by minimus ini only know of a few witnesses that believe that.
did you feel that the ministry was especially rewarding and gratifying to you?
-
MidwichCuckoo
Minimus, pardon me, but who uses that weird expression anymore? I never heard the witnesses called "the friends"
Maybe it's an American thing - I have never heard it either.
As for Skyman - I am mesmerised by the avatar - I find it disturbing, worrying and fascinating all at the same time.

Generation of 1914 gone!
by Gill inis the generation that saw 1914, now dead and gone?.
if they were born in 1900, they'd be 105 now and there are not many of these people left.. if they were born in 1914 they'd be 91 and there are not many of these left either.. can we say that the early light of russell and rutherford, and nathor knowrr is well and truly disproved?.
can we say it's just a matter of time before the new light is also disproved?.

I didn't quite read all that Blondie - but are the ''anointed'', 'GB', ''covering their backs'' as it were?
