29Witnesses and alcoholism
by Grace inmy jw husband has made me promise to let him die rather than approve a blood transfusion because of bible doctrine; however, the same bible speaks against alcoholism and drunkeness and yet he continues to drink and sometimes gets absolutely smashed.. last night we were at a non-jw staff party for my place of employment, and he lost any shred of dignity through his heavy drinking.
we got home at 3 a.m. and he jumped out of bed at 8:20 and said, "i have to get to book study; i'm reading today.
(it behooves me how he can do this time and again without even taking so much as an asparin!).

I would guess that 99.99% of the population would be absolutely unaffected. So your skirt blows up and some government grunt gets his jollies for the day because he saw your panties. Say that happens 1,000 times a day. Nothing in comparison to tracking down one pedophile. I say let them look up skirts all day.

Evil, learn to use the scroll wheel on your mouse. The original post was about using cameras, not to monitor activity as it happens, but to review tapes if a crime occurs. "If I have nothing to hide" is an absolutely valid point.
Personally, I would invite the "video police" to scan me day in and day out...hell, zoom in and check to see if I have any boogers in my nose today...if those same monitors could help in catching a rapist or tracking down a child abductor or solving the murder of your significant other -

Indianapolis 500

i watch this every year and was able to go once as a kid to the 500. .
my grandfather raced cars(midgets) and once had a speed shop across from the 500 track and sold car engines and car parts.
