  Husband stumped his pioneer mother the other day.

  my mother-in-law was hounding my husband the other day about our spiritual standing.

  conversation led to "the light gets brighter".

  he said if that is the case then maybe the light gets brighter for other religions as well.

  They caught me house-sitting in Houston this morning

  i went outside and to the car this morning for some items and saw some walkers (very slow walkers) approaching, in pairs, a few homes away.

  i knew i had a little time to think.

  when the doorbell rang i was ready.. we've got a few more days here in houston, just north of braes bayou and near stella link rd.

  inability to spot deception, irony, lies, or sarcasm might be initial sign of dementia.

  elderly individuals who lose the ability to tell when somebody is being untruthful, insincere or sarcastic may be showing an early sign of a neurodegenerative disease, such as dementia, researchers from the university of san francisco explained at the 63rd annual meeting of the american academy of neurology in hawaii.

  the presentation was called "divergent neuroanatomic correlates of sarcasm and lie comprehension in neurodegenerative disease.".

  APOSTATES-yes another thread about 6/15 WT

  talking to blackman about the article and was thinking...didn't the whole apostate thing first start getting recognition in the 70's?.

  i seem to remeber a thread saying that apostates were a contrivence enforced in the 70's to combat the 1975 fiasco.. could someone research the amount of times apostacy is used before the 70's compared to how much they used or warned against it after the 70's..

  1984 WT cover -- Watchtower's Final Failed Prediction?

  the infamous cover of that 1984 watchtower (27 years ago) was perhaps the last prediction / prophecy of the watchtower society.

  will there be any more or have they finally learned their lesson?

  some think they are like a race-track junkie and are addicted to predictions.

  i can hardly believe the prices they're getting for pristine copies of those books they handed out to those of us with scalps populated with lice, hands and fingers encrusted with bits of jelly and dried mud.

  they're getting between $100 and $200 per copy.. thanks to google images, i couldn't resist taking another peek between some of those charming colored pages as a reminder to what we were actually exposed to in trying to make us literate.. most of these look contemporary to when i went to school -- the 1940's.

  one of them may go back into the 1930's.

  "Youth book" said 97% of teenagers Masturbate...but none of them are Witnesses! Is this unrealistic?

  "youth" book and "young people ask" admitts that 97% boys and 92% of girls masturbate but of course none of the holy decent witness teenagers would ever do such a thing and earn jehovahs anger!

  how realistic is this?

  97% of the world have t.v's or a telephone!
