As God Is My Witness....
by MidwichCuckoo ingod is all knowing, god is all seeing, there is even a precedent that god is 'de facto' editor of the watchtower.
is there therefore any reason why god could not be the default second witness in the case of an abuse claim within the jw community?.
for this to stand up in an enquiry, the second witness (jehovah) would have to give evidence.

Another perpetual motor built in Russia
by Elsewhere inhttp://english.pravda.ru/science/19/94/379/15849_perpetual.html
another perpetual motor built in russia07/23/2005 12:41. for the last five years the inventor has been waiting for official recognition of his device.
vyacheslav strushchenko decided to invent a magnetic motor in 1975. the inventor read more than a hundred books to gain necessary knowledge.

Absolute balderdash . .rubbish . . even the simplest of children learn about the conservation of mass and of energy. Energy CANNOT be created (or destroyed for that matter) . . and for a perpetual "motor" you would have to create energy to keep it running. Silly.

Hobbies & talents & dislikes.
by hibiscusfire insometimes i wonder if the persons we are sreally show off our talents.. you may go somewhere with all these talents, hobbies and dislikes and people just see you for another two legged creature on planet earth.. for instance at work people just see you for what you do, they don't know how talented you may be.. my hobbies:.
watching television & movies, sewing, being around my doggies, relaxing-bathing- walking on the beach - love the sand.
i just learnt how to swim so i don't mind swimming in the pool now.

I've eaten mushroom-flavoured chocolates in Belgium, bear and shark in the US, and raw prawns and savory custard with a pickle in the bottom in Japan. Reckon Belgium wins that one.

Preventing a person from receiving medical attention - be it pills, transfusions, whatever - CAN be taken as evidence of murder . . . does anybody know if a JW has ever been charged with murder (or man-slaughter) when they have prevented another person (of any age) from receiving correct attention ?

As a long-standing member of the Musca domestica L protection and appreciation society, I object to the constant implication that these small and basically friendly creatures are in fact a nuisance and something to be "shoo'd" away regardless of their well being. Please have a little consideration for these short-lived and harmless little friends.
