  Would You Really Want To Live Forever With Dubs?

  here is the hypothetical question of the day - would you, or more appropriately, could you live forever in paradise on earth with jw's?

  with the hypocrosy, silly elders, silly people... feeding lions and cleaning up after animals... everyone living by waterfalls, like the jw's always portray in they're psychotic pamphlets..... or would you rather be dead.

  i, personally, would much rather be dead.

  Not sure about forever.... but, I think I could handle putting up with the "Dubs", for awhile anyway.

  Hell Yeah, I would like to see my dead loved ones again. I could handle work and meetings & and even obnoxious people to get to experience that.

  I think my curiosity would get the best of me... and I would hang around to hear questions answered, the whys and what ifs... we've all asked ourselves many times... I want to "KNOW" what's in those new scrolls...

  After I experienced the reality of it... and if I started feeling, "Is This All There Is", I'd just get myself "Poofed" right out of there...

  If it were all true, of coarse.

  we are having a blast!.

  one man down so far.........the old biatch is going strong.. my mom was here for a couple of hours, that was cool.

  of course, i think she was just baby-sitting my dad.. mom looked kinda sad, probably cos we are partying on the memorial.. .

  i'm just sat working on a new version of the forum (to bring it more up-to-date and make it better for non-ie browsers) and notice the date on the first post of the backup database that i'm working against ... 23 march 2000.. i can't believe it's been 8 years !

  Sharing my sad news with you

  my great nephew, 8 months old, was killed yesterday.

  so far appears to have been murdered by his sitter, a couple with whom my nephew and his girlfriend have been living.

  they beat and drowned this little baby.

  I am also sorry you were only given 30 seconds on the phone to share your grief with your father...before the guilt trip...

  one year today

  a year ago today my husband was arrested after he tried to kill his own friend and a police officer, with a knife.

  they shot him, and he has been in jail, having various kinds of hearings, awaiting trial since then.

  every day as i go about my life i think about his choices - if he had thought longer before he took that first dose of meth, he might still have his comfortable life, freedom to go fishing when he wants, nice work, friends, so on.

  Hi guys, I'm new here.

  i'm a former jw or joho as one of my sister's schoolmates used to call us.

  (reminds me of the hojos we used to stay at for assemblies :d) i was raised as a witness, baptized at the age of 14 due to my father's constant pressuring.

  i'm in my mid-30s now and i stopped attending meetings three years ago.

  I think the "fact", that I think, feel, love and have the ability to "Question" things and wonder about the future makes me a conscience being... so, I guess for me.... it's the emotional aspect of being alive...

  I want to die.

  Hopefully you don't really mean that.....but, I can see your point. I suppose only a conscience being would be able to want to die.
