Converted at age 28....
My then husband had committed suicide, they gave me the "impression" that I would see him again in the resurrection. (imagine my surprise, when that was clarified after baptism... ).
We had been studied with off and on prior to that event for appox. 2 years. Hubby joined the AF and we moved to OK. Sh*t hit the fan, and upon returning, the JWs again sought me out.
With the trauma and frame of mind at the time, I was an easy target.....
Woke up 13 years later......

i've been away to visit my sister and her "worldly" husband after many years of not seeing her...i don't even have her phone number as she lives overseas.
we just had a first family get together.
when she met me at the door i was ready for anything!
I agree with the posters above, do let her know how you feel, then in turn,
let her have her say, you both will feel the weight lifted and can start fresh.

the neighbor found her in his yard having a grand mal.
i adopted her in 2002 from a shelter, shes a sheltie, and she was fine and wonderful and loved us and protected us.
I'm so sorry... I understand how hard that must have been.
I will have to have my cat put down soon, the thought of it is heartbreaking...

I was such a "Good" witness, it makes me sick to think back on it.
I tried so hard to monitor every move I made, and every thought I thought, until the stress of it was driving me batty.
When I learned others were getting away with "murder" so to speak, I said to hell with this... And here I am.
