I have a soft voice, I'm forever being told to speak up and stop mummbling, maybe its something to do with being a witness kid, I dunno.

ITS HARD WORK BEING A WOMAN................
by vitty in.
.
after plucking, shaving, waxing, cleansing, mosturising, dyeing (hair), blow drying, curling, straightning, exfoiliating, rubbing in skin softeners, painting toe nails, manicuring, putting on lip balm, makeup, uncomfortable shoes, wearing briget jones knickers with sucky in bits.............oh to be a man, shave, shower, dress, then out the door .

A friend of mine once pointed out that women are remakable in that they can bleed constantly for 5 days every month and not die.

Since I have discovered JWD I have taken a long look at my past and it has forced me into taking a look at myself too and I don't really like what I see.
I am such a negative person, nothing is ever right and I get angry very easily.
I have also become very introvert to the extent of not particularly wanting to speak to people apart from close friends and my family.
I need to do a lot of work on my personality, but I will get there.

Watchtower relief effort...
by undercover ini googled some different religion home pages this morning to see how some religions/churches were responding to the disaster on the gulf coast.. all the ones that i checked, catholic, baptist, lutheran, presbyterian all made mention of the disaster and had already started some relief efforts.
the cathoic church has its own relief website, catholicrelief.org where various relief efforts around the world are listed.
(one interesting one is that the catholic church is teaming with the mormons to bring food to niger) .

Jehovahs Witnesses can't wait for the day when Jehovah brings Armageddon and destroys the world, so why would they care about worldly people suffering now?

Is being a Witness really so bad? Is religion bad in general?
by jwfacts ini have no intention of ever being a witness again, but when i look at my family i wonder if they are better living in the ignorance they call spiritual paradise.
many people seem to have a need for religion.
is it better if they remain as they are?
-
Ellie
Yes I think that some people need the religion for comfort and a social life

Oh yeah, I slept at a train station too once, not because I was drunk but because I'd missed the last train, this girl who I suspect was a prostitute came over and told me she liked my trousers, I thought I was about to be mugged
