His love songs make my heart ache. Full of passion and belief.(Comes A Time)

When I hear Rockin' In The Free World it still gets me angry at injustice.

That is exactly what I was talking about. These sad men just can't see their daughters outside of their "protective" control. You see it at weddings. It's the fathers who crack up.

What a waste of life eh? He must love you so much but can't face the woman you've become.

Once again I say, life is too short for this sort of behaviour....

This is what disturbs me about most christians. This attitude of peering over peoples shoulders to see what they are doing, so they can go...God how can they do, read, say that?? I never would god, so I am a better follower of you aren't I god??

Constant judgement of others to make them feel more righteous

Can't you fundies get it through your knuckle heads that faith is a personal matter??

Still I guess the bible fosters this attitude. Remember the apostles argueing over who would be next to christ in the kingdom?

Poor jesus. 3 yrs of teaching some amazing stuff and that's all they got out of it.

Anointed Sealed...

it has been over 70 years since the anointed number has been sealed.

assuming those anointed were of reasoning age when the number was sealed and the great crowd came into play, how long will the fds stick to this reasoning that the anointed still exist.

or will there be "new light" as in the 1914 understanding.

All the claimed anointed I met were nutters esp the young ones. Actually one was in my thoughts when I woke this morning!

He was an obsessive/compulsive who was striving for perfection. Died young from cancer...

Funny thing about fathers, particularly the jw version is that they have trouble seeing their daughters as adults.

Forever daddies little girl.

So when daughter gets her own opinion, dad hits the roof, even to the point of cutting that rebellious daughter off. All a bit weird I reckon, kinda like jealousy.

Saw it with my jw brother and many in jws.

Sons eventually get respect but daughters??

the october 1, 2005 watchtower slams higher education in a 5 page analysis on why it is better to pioneer than go to college.

i recieved this wt today and i was shocked by the statements in there.

I reckon that they softened their opinion in the early nineties because all the old farts in bethel needed nursing, medical attention plus computers needed programming and buildings needed engineers and oh yeah, lawyers were required as well.

That's all sorted, so back to the dark ages.
