  I think you'll find the odd atheist here!!!

  I was raised an atheist became a jw for 15 yrs now back in the fold. To be honest I wrestled the whole time with the belief of a loving benign 'father" .

  That wasn't helped by the bible extolling god's traits of jealousy, wrath, vengefulness and general adolescent behaviour...

  I don't know your story but it appears that you are considering killing yourself.. True?

  Are you seeing yourself as hopeless, of no worth? Who's telling you this? It's that little monkey voice that doesn't rest isn't it?

  Well that voice must be reprogrammed to positve thinking.

  Go to a doctor if necessary and get some rest time thru medication. Then find a quality professional to get all the jw chatter out of your head.

  Killing yourself is just a waste of precious possibility

  Where are all of these damn flies coming from???

  for the last few days i've killed about six flies in my apartment.

  not just regular flies, these are huge ass flies almost the size of bees!

  i keep my trash can clean and the trash is picked up every other day.

  for anyone who may have noted my happy news of about a week ago, the bubble burst after roughly 48 hours.

  after the 90% successful "let's agree to act like intelligent adults and respect the other's conscience" talk with my dad, he wrote a letter and renegged on everything.

  i am once again a hard-headed, ungrateful apostate.. i'm as tired of writing about the situation as you probably are reading about it, so i won't go into too many details.

  It's funny that we are on this subject as I just went and checked the snail mail and there was a card from my daughter!!!

  She saw this card while in the city with her boyfriend and it reminded her of me and where I live. It's a black and white picture of an ancient stone shack covered by the roots of a tree.

  The quote below says

  i keep reading all these threads that talk about the jws knocking on their doors.

  we live in southern california and there has not been a visit at door in well over a year.

  my business is on the main drag and their has not been a visit there either.

  my boss received a package via ups and she had no idea who it was from.

  Isn't it funny that if that woman was interviewed at a meeting I would have thought how loving but now that my eyes are open, I know that a sympathy card would have got a more positive response.

  As I wrote on the other thread I don't all myself pagan but I do celebrate solstice etc and every full moon by dancing.

  Parties are arranged around astral events.

  Who can sleep on a full moon anyhow??
