i just read that kate moss has been given more modelling jobs now that she's been a whole month "clean" of using cocaine which is how she kept her body at skin and bones.
i hear lots of women say they'd "love to have a body like hers", when we know the only way she can keep that skinny is by using drugs.
i was told that i was "just jealous" and that "all women would like to be that thin.

I think they show the JW guy surrounded by smokin', drinkin' wordly/demony people to show that being in a chat room is the same as hanging out with those "evil" persons.
Remember? They did the same with TV. "Would you invite a (random sinner) in your house? Now, watching them on TV is obviously the same thing. Christians should refrain! Would you invite Jesus over and watch this movie?" You know this kind of crap...

I know...I know...but I also know that those people, who have also made a choice, will think that I judge them in typical JW-style if they arent informed of my leaving. (No offence to you, Dfed, you are not a typical JW.:P)

I've found myself in a not so feel-good situation this morning. In fact, it happened a few times just this week. I'm often walking around town or in malls and I happen to pass, make eye contact and smile to people I know arent JWs anymore. I mean, studies that never got baptized, sisters that DAd or faded...The problem is, we haven't seen each other in a long time...and they probably still think I am a dub. It's very embarassing as I absolutely don't want them to think that I am, but I can't stop to clarify things with each person...so I just give them a huge smile and try to tell them with my eyes that I'm on their side now.lol If I happen to be wearing distinctly pagan-friendly jewellery, I try to show it off, lol. Anyone else feels like this? Any tricks I didn't think of?

how many of you stayed in the "lie" longer than you believed it was true because you needed financial support from someone in the borg.. i know i stayed longer than i wanted to so that i could become financially independant from my parents and therefore i could do as i pleased without the financial ramifications.
I've got a daycare center at home, and when I was in, I was supposed to take one or two dubby-kids. In the end I decided against it, and now I am so glad I took this decision, my DA would have caused all sorts of problems from the kids having to switch places again to finding new ones. I guess I never got attached in any ways in there...I didn't even have real friends...
My DA is pending right now.....why you might ask? Well, the elders can't seem to decide if I will need to be shunned by my father. One says no, he should still be aloud to talk to me, even if I don't live at home, and the other says the shunning should be done. Such harmony.

well, i came across a couple of interesting pieces of news yesterday, that i thought you would all find encouraging.
while i was standing in line at macdonald?s yesterday morning, i ran into a couple of jws from the other side of town.
they were up in my area because (not surprisingly) they were laying tiles at a local bar and the work had to be done on sunday morning.
Actually, I have some hope for the children. I've got two small brothers, and one of them wants to ear nothing of the JWS, while the other, I was once scared for him, but we often talk together and I can see he is quite ticked about inconstitencies (from Bible and WTS). Kids today are less religious then before, he in particular is very into the scientific stuff...
