Apart from the story not being historical, it is set prior to the introduction of the Mosaic law, and apart from Judah's personal affront to her prostitution in the story, there is no indication in the Bible of a former prohibition against temple prostitutes (as which Tamar supposedly disguised herself).
Aside from that, the only prohibitions in the Mosaic law about prostitution are that fathers could not make their daughters prostitutes, priests could not marry prostitutes and their daughters could not be prostitutes, and temple prostitutes were forbidden. There is no prohibition at all against prostitutes generally, and prostitution was frowned upon but generally tolerated in Judea.

You have to remember that the Bible is mainly fiction. Moses, Abraham Isaac and Jacob did not exist, they are fiction.The twelve tribes did not exist, Most of Genesis is complete fiction. The Exodus is fiction. The conquering of Canaan is fiction. The early kings are fiction, historical kings begin with Hezekiah but the Bible's accounts of historical people are not necessarily true even then.
Mostly correct, except for comments about the kings prior to Hezekiah. There is attestation for various kings of Judah and Israel in extrabiblical sources, including well before Hezekiah. However, there is little to no evidence of David or earlier as historical characters. But as you point out, even for the characters that actually did exist, the versions of events in the Bible are littered with political and religious propaganda.

to get an idea, it could be helpful to discern when those days end relative to time times and half a time.. i see a possibility that the 2300 days end the same day as the 1260 days.

If people want to completely ignore the actual historical context of the book of Daniel, they can come up with any old numerological drivel. And when they do, it usually 'just happens' to 'point to' some time close to 'now', because 'reasons'.
Given the actual context of Daniel, the "2,300 days" (6.5 years) most likely refers to the period from Antiochus' appointment of a new Hellenised priest in Jerusalem in mid-171 BCE until the restoration of Jewish worship and rededication of the temple in December 165 BCE.
But why let logic get in the way of half-baked nonsense?

The JW dogma is, of course, wrong. But the problem with what you have stated above is that what actually occurred in 612 BCE is attributed - incorrectly - by JWs to the year 632 BCE.
Back in reality, Babylon conquered Assyria at Nineveh in 612 BCE, and Assyria's capital was moved to Harran. Harran was then conquered by Babylon in 609 BCE, at which point Assyria disappears from history.

so everyone is supposed to get all excited about the invitation work starting tomorrow, according to the announcement from the platform.. maybe this makes sense if you're giving out invitations in the city where the convention is, but what if you're many hours away?.
a huge part of western canada is scheduled to attend edmonton alberta this july.
so how does that go over giving out invitations in winnipeg, about a 13 hour drive(that's just driving time).. i know some are actually planning on flying there, so i can't see getting excited about getting the public to make the trek.. i was curious how this is going over in other areas?.
Just had someone knock on my door with a 'convention invitation'. It seems they're desperate to increase attendance. Not sure about other areas, but a quick look at the JW 'convention finder' on their website and a comparison with the capacity of the venues that they're renting in my region (considered cumulatively) suggests considerably smaller attendances than previously.
