Russian raid on 50 Jehovahs witnesses

there has been a raid on a large jehovahs witness gathering in norilsk, above the arctic circle, according to the moscow times.. a building with 50 jws inside was surrounded by masked, armed special forces forces who burst into the building and demanded they surrender all electronic devices.. i'll link the article but it's obviously going to drive these witnesses deeper into the religion.

We should flood the GB parasites w/messages to get over there (they have good booze in land of see-thrus, i.e., Vodka, so they'd survive) and help these poor JWs. Where's the WT legal team and to what extent is WT responsible. Needs to be TV coverage on this. I'm sure the 8? imbibing losers are quite concerned (what a joke)! They've no regard for law and justice and need to be held accountable.

Putin must have warehouses of JW letters for a paper recycling factory -- I'm sure this is the extent of WT's efforts on behalf of these poor JWs but are concerned and defending their asset/property losses. Apostates' letters would have a better chance with Russian despot revealing truth of the perpetrators they need to go after. Poor innocent cult vics!

Who knew that Halloween could be so much fun!

today is my first time celebrating halloween.

and it is just plain fun!

each new thing, birthdays, halloween, next thanksgiving and xmas are all proof that we were held back and restricted from enjoying life.. .

So happy you're enjoying the real life -- it's wonderful -- all the cute candy and costumes. One of my best memories was trick or treating (primary school yrs) in the city with childhood friends -- a couple still in my life to this day. We'd receive so much candy and had a blast both on 'gate nite' and Halloween nite. Many businesses/restaurants/malls offer safe events/celebration parties for children.

yesterday, i was driving around on a beautiful fall day in arizona and thinking about how lucky i was.

how my dead friends could never enjoy this day or the thousands of other days they had missed over the years.

i'm still alive yet they are gone..... .

Tragic -- how many deaths! I'd love to see billboards across the globe (the eye buys more than the ear hears but maybe not re/cults). Whatever it takes to get the truth out there.

LHG - hahahahahahah - love your term above "deadbeats" -- perfect. Haven't heard that in long time but it's great. I think some JWs are quite industrious.

You would have fit in better in different city re your career -- blessings you didn't but single women hold full time careers/jobs out here - just in case you ever re-enlist/lololol - NOT! Teachers, realtors, my XJW friend in retail (college degree and has always worked full time representing private skin care co inside exclusive dept store - she's salaried good $$$) etc. Believe me, I was as x-treme on fringe as one could possibly be but it's an isolation cult.

LHG - "any of us" - I was around a few x-Bethelites (no problem with them) and a hardliner nut job who finally was accepted - cult needed her mate - but I can see how the desire could possibly happen for some buying into the magic. My lifestyle/social commitments always on the run (UBM) was never going to allow me to fit in -- other than for handouts/work, etc. Despots/crooks -- it was a horror story and I wasn't going to conform - ever.

It's sad when they receive the 'you're done' line/notice -- it could have been reality for many of us when we were under the spell of the cult. I can't imagine the Catholic church treating their priests/nuns like this but who knows. I'm sure WT isn't unique and Scientology and other cults are merciless once they can't use/abuse one any longer.

This is not good -- I feel sorry for the Russian JWs and hope the WT didn't encourage them to continue as usual or break any laws - not that it would take much there/scary.

How many of them fake physical, anxiety attacks, agoraphobia, mental problems, etc., to take advantage of social security services and collect disability insurance (which are tax free) so they can pioneer and be elevated within the cult's ranks. I've heard of many of these situations. They're too lazy to work and are parasites to society.

Yes -- children are too afraid and traumatized to report the loser breeders so they've nothing to worry about and carry on their abuse. Many school psychologists are on their game today but have limitations. Loser parents are not unique in the world and it's sad a religion like WT cult adds/encourages/endorses their evil.

It's hard to face reality but it's much healthier than lying to yourself. Feel the pain - bring it on and once you do the pain subsides/fades gradually over time. Some good reality check books are Toxic Parents, Drama of the Gifted Child (Alice Miller - she's excellent - several books out yrs. ago). I've friends that are very liberal and not fans of this author but benefitted greatly from her book -- Dr. Laura Schlessinger's, Bad Childhood Good Life. I speed read it and seems excellent.
