Group up with trustworthy friends and stay close by to your bio family. Not too safe living alone w/aging - I've friends (older than I) who have made adjustments and they're pretty tough gals.

LongHair - Well said -- it's a very abusive religion full of parasites. One is expected to 'share' and that covers being bamboozled and you have to forgive automatically because 'it's your bro/sista' - that's the best part ever about religion! Human nature of leeches and it's quite prevalent in society. Same con game happens in all levels of society and especially targeted at senior citizens from the service/work individuals/cos hired to work in their homes and in care facilities -- all in the name of just 'helping'. Thieves and robbers at your back like in more than one song - can only think of the one called, "Angel" - Sarah McLachlan, singer-songwriter. So true.
i`m sure you have all noticed the ever increasing number of newbies and lurkers who have visited this site over the past months and i am sure we could all collectively welcome them to this site and support them on learning the ttatt .
and helping them to navigate how they can look up older publications and quotes of the wtb&ts that they would rather remain hidden.. we all know jehovah`s witnesses /governing body never apologizes for mistakes they make they just don`t mention them anymore and explain it away as new light from god.. actually a big cop out.. welcome to all you who are new to this site .. every day their seems to be someone new posting which is great .. and if this is any indication of what is happening in all other ex jw sites the wtb&ts are in deep trouble .

Yes -- I heard the same crazy and knew a couple without children and she felt they had no time for a dog or pet since they were committed to the cult -- she didn't work but auxiliary pioneered now/then. in the latest edition of jw boradcasting they were telling you of a huge new complex they will be building these next few years.it will be as big as warwick and only a few miles away,they will make a lot of the films and videos there and 100s of people will live there as well .
