  a full billboard ad in my area along a busy heavily travelled highway would cost about $500.

  would probably get lots of attention and maybe even a news article, who knows.

  $500 is cheap and easily affordable.

  Palimpsest: i agree w/the psychology. it's difficult knowing many are afraid of satan jumping thru their computer to learn the truth (all the ones i know, anyway) and shoving info down their throats on interstates to make them think just might not be the way to go. i know hearing about apostates at convention time certainly intrigued me when i attended. i wanted to hear what they had to say but couldn't because so many people were around watching.

  sir82 --- so true. one of the world's most promoted magazine cos. yet such a tiny, insignificant, religion unless one been associated with/affected by.

  i think this is the greatest idea --- people have no idea the reality of the watchtower and how they kill/hurt people. i wish more would consider/contribute to a billboard project/endeavor. i would definitely contribute to a nyc/crooklyn billboard if you're collecting -- or any other locality, for that matter.

  EDUCATION/INFORMATION IS EVERYTHING AGAINST ABUSERS (and all things)! i will see about free legal from one lawyer (although i'm sure advice necessary for different states/areas).

  Interstate Billboards - $750 a month

  i found an interstate billboard for $750 a month, minimum of 1 month.

  there is an additonal charge of $750 for the art.

  the billboard is on i-75, near hahira, georgia (just north of valdosta...and the florida line).

  a billboard company with half a brain will have to approve of anything planned (the content thereof) even though they're in business to make money and sell --- NOT A CHANCE are they (THE WATCHTOWER) going to be successful in the US coming after ex-witnesses advertising/spreading news.

  i'm in for $50 a month. these need to be all over the US exposing this cult --- but one is at least a start.

  there have been quite a few ups and downs in her treatments and her prognosis along with way.

  she is a full time pioneer and has been since shortly after her diagnosis.

  ahhh --- i missed CHALAM'S post w/scriptures above --- long day. i, too, appreciate his knowledge and his scriptures from the NIV and any other translation he quotes from. he seems to always be right on when my faith is going south. hope i haven't missed his posts lately.

  Is there a serious weakness in the Watchtower Society's legal position?

  the watchtower society is good at intimidation.

  it uses fear to maintain control of it's members, including fear of being destroyed at armageddon and fear of shunning and being rejected by family and friends.

  they even try to intimidate former members by threatening them with lawsuits over copyright issues, as an example.

  DESIGNS -- I PRAY YOU ARE RIGHT!!! MAYBE the country needs a committee to represent the country to protect people from these crooks, BUT I GUESS THAT ISN'T ALLOWED BECAUSE THEY HAVE FREEDOM to harm the innocent. i'm sure if this were possible - freeminds, and many of the scholars on board here would have done so w/all the knowledge and qualifications they have.

  this is an old one --- and i've brought home ALL OF THEM and he tries them and the all time FAV is by Lagerfeld (classic, the original). it was only sold for yrs. at neimans and saks and now it's at WALMART and PENNEYS! i keep trying to replace it w/a better standby and haven't been able to. he wears it and all the ole ladies and young complement him. even when we're out socially acquaintances/friends try to find out the cologne he wears and it's funny. a runner up (but after an hr. or two of wear wasn't as good) is Boucheron. the gals at saks give me every sample of new ones they get, and i feel bad he's wearing cologne from walmart -- but then after all, lagerfeld does design the Chanel handbags.

  don't think we've tried out the Chanel Blue and will pick up --- also Creed (sold at neimans) is an unbelievable fragrance line (w/several scents available).
