Not like there is a home worth taking back or a car to repo, I would call them up and tell them they could have it, especially after I got the insurance check.

How can victims of Katrina possibly pay their mortgages?
by truthseeker ini was thinking, how can victims of hurricane katrina possible pay for their mortgage, car loans and credit cards when they have nothing, no job, no home, no where to go, and only the clothes on their back?.
i mean, will insurance really pay for their destroyed home?
did their car insurance have a flood policy?.

Bridal Veil used to hide from demons.
by Es inthe thread bout the gazing ball and the wind chimes got me thinking.
it was new to me that wind chime's are not allowed as a jw coz of the demonic overtone.. but then so is the bridal veil......some believe back then that it was used to hide the face of the bride from demons...you would have thought they had stumbled across that one and omitted that from jw weddings.
i mean here its even frowned upon to cut the bloody wedding cake together!!!!.

H. Clinton was on the news blaming Bush and the reporter turned to her and said, "you don't honestly stand there blaming Bush and fail to mention the huge problems of the state government, do you?" The Lousianna state government is Democrat! Well H. Clinton just acted like it was not said and never missed any opertunities to slam Bush more. Yep, no matter what happens the Democrats and Republicans have no shame in using terrible events to bust their political power. Presential election is three years away, but a New York senater from Illinious saw fit to tour New Orleans, all out of the kindness of her own heart. BLAH! I hate politicians!

Now I am hearing authorities blaming the governor of Louisiana for not letting the government know what they needed soon enough.
Like the governer needed to report how much damage there was, doesn't anyone in Washington have CNN or FOXNEWS? I could tell without the governor calling for help, that these people needed help. Although, after seeing how the people have acted in New Orleans with lotting, murder, etc. perhaps it was time for that city to die.

On O'Reilly a guy on the phone who was in New Orleans summed it up great, when he said "If there was a multi-terror attack like 911 in this nation, we would be screwed!" He was in downtown New Orleans and from what he described, it was third world nation behavior and people were killing and being killed. It will get worse!

What is WRONG with people? (Looters, shooters, et al)
by AlmostAtheist ini'm sitting here in awe, just having read that evacuation helicopters are reporting being shot at in louisiana.
shot at.. looters are seeing an opportunity to take goods that will probably be destroyed or paid for by insurance anyway.
it's dirty and nasty and wrong, but i can live with it.
