i just read a letter from a friend in brazil where he express his happiness about the translation to portuguese of his book "in search for christian freedom" that is coming.

i would like to share some thoughts of ray franz about the terrorist attacks in 11/09:.

UN Info Distribution

a day or so prior to gc.com shutting down, one of their members posted a warning that they had received an "apostate email", entitled "united nations".

the poster said that he had deleted it without reading it, (i guess they have esp over there) and warned others to do the same.

i believe that the poster also said that all gc members probably got such because they didn't use that particular address except for gc stuff.. i haven't seen a similar post on gc.net or wol thus far.. can i assume that someone here has already emailed everyone at gc and wol?

what are anyone's recommendations for an unbiased,easy to read translation.

i read on another site that the nwt is flawed.

I can't stand the guy.
No matter what the occasion, he always has this stupid smirk on his face.
He can't talk.
When he does say something half intelligent, it's because he's reading from a script.
He can't improvise, the way Clinton could.
Have you heard Tony Blair the other day, that was a speech, the man is eloquent, he has a great presence, W.Bush to me looks and acts like a rotten brat. He doesn't have a clue.

with all the talk about terrorism, the horrors of the taliban regime and the suffering of the afghan people, shouldn't the watch tower society ask their followers to "move to where the need is greater".... shouldn't the jws try to convert all afghan people and the leader of the taliban to christianity ?
