Ray Franz is an amazing man.
Look what his two books have done to help people out of the cult.
He is still overseing the translation of his books, which is a huge piece of work.
And he does it all alone, typing, putting into page form, sending to different people around the world.... CoC has been translated in spanish, russian, japanese and other languages, now the french speaking JWs and cult observers will soon be able to read it too.
I admire him greatly. -

by Seeker4 injust wanted to start a day early in wishing everyone a very joyous solstice.. this time of year has always seemed rather magical in a way - the shortness of the day, the lack of light, the so-obvious connection with the earth and solar system that it reminds me of.
you pagans will all understand what i mean.
somehow i've managed to get to a party of some sort at this time of year for the past few years, and i'm headed to one tomorrow night.. i also wanted to say that this board, and h2o before it, has been a huge help to me over the past two years.

personally i dont like it.. i often feel repulsed when i see other wise sane people curtsy or bow to a royal family member.. i could never show this level of obeisance to another human being.. i would be friendly yes.
