by Farkel inat 4440 braeburn road, san diego, ca., in the rich and prestigious neighborhood of the kensington heights neighborhood sits one of the biggest embarrassments in the long and continuing list of embarrassments the watchtower society has created for itself.. most dubs know nothing about it, and if it wasnt for a few brief comments about it in the proclaimers book in 1993, even fewer dubs would know anything at all about it.. it is the home once known as beth-sarim (pronounced beth-sareeeem), the house of the princes.. it is a house with a history the society has shown by its historical lack of candor, hopes everyone would forget.
in fact, the society has done just about everything it could do to ensure that its history will be forgotten.
in the first book devoted to discussing the history of jehovahs witnesses, this house and its history is not even mentioned.

A Sad report on a Family's "Loving"
by lydia ini don't believe how those in the borg have the ignorance to say that they are the "most loving" of all religions!!.
case in point..... this past weekend my "adopted sister" went missing on me - (she lives about 1 & 1/2 hours away) i couldn't reach her by phone and when i called anyone in her family -with the exception of merry (other adopted sister) no one lifted a finger to find anything out!!!.
i called continually for the weeknd, and gave some thought to the fact that she may have went someplace for new years.

Signing up to be a JW again
by moman inwhy would someone, upon tasting freedom, want to return to bondage?.
lets call it the "shawshank redemption syndrome" to those that havn't seen the movie, its one of those 'triumph of the human spirit over extream adversity' movies.. the movie depicts the lives of prisoners & how difficult it iz to adjust to freedom after years of incarceration,you know, the guy that breaks the store window so he can go back to prison & whats familiar.. i can understand, in light of the above, how some who leave the borg,& then have a yearning for the old ways.
the watchtower offers answers for everything, you need not think, just play by the rules & everything will be ok, because we have the real god on our side!

And being a JW means that you must try to convert as many people as you can to your "religion"....
How could anyone do that, knowing what they know about the lies, the hypocrisy of the Society ? The pain they inflict on their followers ?It must be the end....

God demands more money!
by RR inbrooklyn, nydissatisfied with dwindling receipts in recent years, soverign lord of the universe, jehovah god issued a rare public statement monday, sharply criticizing his witnesses' lack of generosity and demanding a marked increase in their contributions to the long-standing religion bearing his name.. "historically, i have asked for no more than 10 percent of the total earnings of my people," said god in a 25-minute statement broadcasted over bethel airwaves and aired at local kingdom halls around the world during a special assembly.
"but recent cost analyses by my accountants indicate that current donations from my witnesses are not at this level and are insufficient to meet my earthly financial needs.
god underscored his point with an earning/expenditure chart illustrating that in the first quarter of 2001, he listened to an average of 233 million prayers per day while collecting daily revenues of $6 million.

Why should Bill always feel like he has to walk on eggshells around his parents?
I understand they are in a mind controlling cult, but why should 99 % of the world populations bow to the wishes of JWs ?
Just to spare their feelings... What about the feelings of the majority of the people ?
They are older adults, they should be able to handle it. -

"I know that JWs refuse to have blood transfusions, for themselves and their children, even when this procedure would save their life.
Is that a commandment of your god ? Then, imo. your god is not better than the pagan gods of old, who required human sacrifices, children sacrifices, to be satisfied... -

now, i am looking for a site that has recipies for fondue (i want to cook meat in it using oil) dipping sauces.. if this post is too fluffy, just make sure that the site isn't approved by the governing body.. .

Haaaa.... meat fondue, delicious, and so much fun !
Everyone around the table cooking his/her meat in the same pot,
the delicious different sauces to dip it in...
Just be careful... don't use the fork that went into the hot oil to eat the meat ! You would burn your tongue and mouth and it is very painful!
I must have receipes somewhere....
