by Rags indoes anyone have any personal experiences as to the effects that the 1975 end of the world announcement had on them??.
for starters..i was a 7 years old little girl in 1972 when they were starting to announce it...i remember my dad buying 5 foot long cheese (we are italian)...about 100 salami's...because they said we would first suffer with the starvation and all that and needed to be prepared for it.....also i remember every thunderstorm my mom would run to the window and yell..."maybe this is it..maybe this is the end of the world starting!!

This is a really good one....
by Inquiry inhey all..... i recently heard the funniest prank..... a neighbour of mine came over, with a beer i might add.... nice fellow... and during conversation found out that i used to be a witness... he was asking me questions and then he got this funny smirk on his face... i thought it was something i said, so i asked him what i did.... he started laughing and said he was just remembering what he and a friend did about three years ago around christmas time..... i had been out of the borg for over a year at that point.... apparently, these two pranksters... of course whilst drinking deeply of the barley and hops laden waters of life.... went to a canadian tire, bought $75 worth of christmas lights (about $5 usd...lol) and in the wee hours of a sunday morning... put them up around my old kh and lit them up for all to see when they came in for the 10 am meeting..... i asked around and apparently it's true!

by happy man ini have read here that radher many think that bibel say that heaven is the place to come to, a lot of former jw are in this position.. but i can not agree, for mee this is very inmportant , and i think a reson that jw are atraktiv to so manyis this beleive.
why have you forget all this scriptures wha talk abaout living on earth,and why have you forget that crist talk abaout that some gone to ruel over others?.
